Nothings wrong with kissing your ex if you are not thinking of anything bad about it. Its more like a greeting to a friend whose been a part of your life. But if your not comfortable with it then do not do it. Its just that simple.

This is an interesting discussion, a dilemma that is faced by many separated couples. It depends for me, if for instance the ex and I had a strong relationship, that we mutually enjoyed, we mutually loved each other, we had great times together through parties, travel etc hence we had great memories, then I will probably kiss my ex. In fact I would probably introduce her to friends if i was to meet her or even my new partner if I saw her in public.
Conversely, this outlook would be quite different, if the relationship we shared was marred by disputes, bad memories etc I would probably not introduce her to friends or partners if I was to meet her. But because I am kind hearted guy, I would probably kiss her if she accepts it, and still talk to her if I were to meet her in public. I would probably even buy her a drink or a meal if it was deemed suitable.
