I guess it would depend how big the age gap is. If the girl is 20 and the guy is 40, I don't know if they would have lots in common to talk about because they would be at different points in their lives. If the gap is 10 years or less, it should be alright if they have lots of things in common.

I think it is only alright and I find it no wrong with it as long as each other have fun, love and enjoy each other company then it is alright than pretend to the dictate of the society. Age is only a matter of number the compatibility needs does not depend on the numbers but on the quality of the relationship. As long as the age gap is not more than 30 years, say like 5 years then it is still good as both partner could still best to work on its differences then settle down after a conversation.

what age are you talking about? over a 12 yr age gap? to me that would be yuck, why would you want a partner whose nearly the same age as your parents. but you never know how of when love will hit you. long as they are happy together, leave them to it.
