Hi ladym, my friends and I usually will have our vacation by the end of the year. It's really a pleasant time for so many of us to get gathered again once in a year. We visited Turkey last year. The last day we went for a ferry ride on the Bosphorus Strait after having breakfast. During the journey across Marmara Sea, we enjoy our excited sightseeing during the cruise. The landscape on either side of the Bosphorus Strait was really fascinating. We could see some lovely yachts and fishing boats passing by on the way occasionally. The cold and gentle breeze made us to feel as comfortable as an old shoe . We took lots of pictures when the boat passing Europeans style palaces of the great Ottomans, Dolmalbahce, as well as the beautiful wooden kiosks of the 19th century and many other modern villas, etc. We enjoyed eating the snacks and drinks we carried along. This is an unforgettable remembrance of a cruise riding we had experienced on the 3rd of December last year in Istanbul Take care and happy posting

The last time I was on a boat was when I was pregnant with my son a little over 10 years ago. I don't know what kind of boat it was. It was my brothers boat. He invited a bunch of family members up to go out on the lake with him.

About a month or two ago, we went down to Keema, Texas and they had a boat ride called "The Beast". They took us out on the lake which turned into the ocean. They hit some top speeds and the people in the front got soaked. We sat in the back and only got a sunburn. It was a good time, my kids had fun listening to the music and holding on.

We have a boat but haven't used it in several months. It's not a real big boat...it's a Bass Pro (something) and is basically a fishing boat that can go fast.

With my friends´ grandson. - Aboard the boat with a small sailor.
My last vacations were on a sailboat. I was invited by some friends who are part owners of a sailboat to sail at the Caribbean for 3 weeks if I paid for my air ticket to Cartagena de Indias in Colombia and shared food expenses aboard. It was quite an experience! The boat was big as sailboats go. It was for 8 people with four cabins for 2 people each. It was fun and interesting. We went from Colombia to Panamá and left the boat in Colón to fly back.

I think that would be the steamboat at Disneyworld back in August 2001. The furthest I've ever travelled by boat was on the Dover to Calais ferry back in the 1960s.

The last time was about 3 years ago, and it was on a ferry, The ferry carried passengers as well as vehicles, and so it was a large one. It could hold several hundred people and vehicles. The whole trip took about 2 hours, and it was very scenic.

The last time I was on a boat was one of those small wooden ones where you can ride in public parks. The lake's water wasn't specially clean, but it was a nice ride. Also I'm not good with paddles, but fortunately I had someone to paddle in my place.
