?? If you Suspected someone of abusing there pet would you turn them in??

Yes, I would. I have been know to rescue an animal or two from neighbors who did not know how to care for pets. They were on their 3rd dog (1st 2 were hit by cars because they let them wander) This 3rd dog was a puppy that was too young to have been taken from his mother. It was maybe 5 or 6 weeks old at the most. When I discovered they had had it for 2 days already and were feeding it bread and water- I was furious. But I knew that wasn't they way to deal with these ignorant people -so I had to convince them to give me the puppy. So i told them bluntly they were killing this puppy. the mother said oh, but it is my sons dog..her son was 10. So I had to speak with him about it. So I told him that what they were feeding him was going to kill the puppy. Did he want to see it die? NO. he didn't it.. So I took the boy with me on an emergency run to the grocery store to find it some formula and talked to him the whole way and explained why he needed to give me this puppy. He agreed to give it up. (this was all an hour before I was supposed to go to work. LOL- so I had to rush around calling my friends to find someone who could take care of a tiny puppy while I was at work. One of my friends agreed to help out. And her family and kids got attached to him.. Anyway it is now about 11 years later and he is still a happy and LIVE dog.. I always feel good about myself when I think of all the animals I rescued from their hands. And how they are still alive today. I did call the animal warden on them when they left a young puppy tied up to a fence in the blazing sun on a hot summer day with no water... they came and talked to them.. but never fined them or anything. Some people just should not have pets. PERIOD.

Yes because that animal doesn't deserve that. People should never abuse their animals, and if I caught someone doing that to an animal, I would report them as soon as possible. If you saw your neighbor kick her dog, then you better report it. That dog does not deserve that kind of treatment.

I would not hesitate one minute and it would not matter who it is relative friend they have no right to abuse Pets Actually if it was a Friend or relative I would do back to them what they did to the poor Pet then report them or take the Animal away myself My previous Dog, Max, I went to pick up from a House, I saw the little boy who was about 8 kick the Dog, I saw red, I asked how would he like me to kick him, I mean he kicked Max full into the side and the poor Dog was so skinny, the Mother said to me if I did she would call the Police, I took Max and walked out, I told her she can call the police as the Dog had a cut on him where he had just been kicked, Max got in the Car, I gave him a big Hug and told him no one will ever hurt him again now, Max was a Golden Labrador, he turned out to be one of the best Dogs anyone could ask for He was with us for 12 years The Little Fellow I have now, was beaten to, he is now a great and wonderful little Companion So yes I would report someone if I saw them mistreating their Pet

if I saw someone abuse an animal, they wouldn't be my friend anymore. simple as that. so I would not hesitate to turn anyone in for abusing an animal. these sort of people are the scum of the Earth, and I could never ever continue a friendship with someone that think it's okay to be evil.

i hope not i don't want anybody turning me in lol. joking. But yea i have actually turned someone in for this before but i'll not elaborate further because they might find out who i am.

Hello Tlb. If I seen someone hurt an animal like this I would beat the heck out of them then turn them in. I can't stand someone that will hurt and animal for any reason. I think she will pay dearly when she comes to face the Lord God Almighty. I am proud of your friend for turning in this woman that kicked this dog.

I most definately would report them. Any person who would mistreat animals would also mistreat their children and their spouse. By reporting them, you protect the abused animal, get the authorities attention, and hopefully bring it to the abuser's attention that their behavior will not be tolerated. Hopefully, the end result will be that the person will get counseling to help them address the issues that are causing them to be abusive in the first place. But, even if they don't, at least you have the peace of mind of knowing you did the right thing and one less animal is in an abuser's hands.

I can't stand animal abuse and would definitely report it if I saw it, whether it was a friend, relative, or stranger. On the other hand, I'd be reluctant to do anything if I didn't have concrete info...I know how important my pets were/are to me so anything that separated me from them would have been a life-changing experience. I'm reluctant to accidentally inflict that level of pain on someone who might be innocent. However, your friend definitely did the right thing because she actually saw the abuse happen.

i would as i hate pet owners who are abusing their pets. I may let the paws to take it over or call the police to take action on them so that the pets would receive a lot of health then being feed and care on time by people who care much.

Only kind of abuse I see is the sick people on the net getting on webcams, believe me if I knew where they were I would turn em in. That is another kind of abuse though.

I would report anyone who would abuse an animal too. Being from different species doesn't mean they don't deserve respect. You have accepted them in your house, so they become part of your family. As you wouldn't kick your kids, you shouldn't kick your dog, so those kind of people should be reported, even if they're close relatives.

Hell yeah, I would report their cruel a$$'s ! Someone who is actually that evil to hurt a innocent living creature deserves to pay whether their you're boyfriend,best friend or boss! It's ridiculous someone taking their anger out on something smaller then them, they might as well be hitting a child. And besides, isn't abusing small animals a sign of being a serial killer later on? Might as well nip it in the bud before they turn on you.

I would turn them in. Animals can't defend themselves so it is up to caring people to do it for them. I would try to be anonymous if it were a family member.

GOD yes I'd turn them in! First off, I don't believe that any of my family members would ever abuse an animal, but if, for some reason, they did I'd tell them to their face that I was going to call the Humane Society and report them. While there are so many people in this world who love animals and treat their pets like a member of their family there are just as many who don't consider their lives to be of any importance what so ever, and I think that's horrible. I don't know why people get pets if they're just going to neglect/abuse them. It's horrible and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to make sure justice was served!!!

Hi tlb0822 , I would would report anyone who abuses any animal in an instant. I love all my furry friends and it saddens me when I see some one abuse them. Some people just should not be allowed to own any pets as they don't have a clue how to treat them.
