Van den Sar successor, which one is better : Kuszcak or Foster?

As we know, United number one likely will retire this season, and Ferguson have stated that he won't buy another goalkeeper, so he will rely on Kuzcak and Foster as Van den Sar successor. Which one is better? Kuszcak or Foster?
For me, Kuszcak have better reflex than Foster, but lacking in bravery and upper ball. While Foster is more brave, have more strength, but lacking in decision-making. Kuszcak or Foster? or should we bring another Goalkeeper? Post your opinion here!

I actually think Van der Sar's boots are too big to fill for either of them. Both of them have shown some promise and then flatter to deceive. Foster gives me an uneasy feel in the back as sometimes his charges from the net are not well timed. Kuszak has been a better shot stopper, but again can have his moment of madness ala David James. So I just think they still need to develop and mature to really replace Van der Sar.

Well, the problem is, Van den Sar already 40 years old so it is unwise to ask him to play for more (remember Arsenal's David Seaman? He was good, but when he forced himself to play at later stages he made really fatal blunder a lot of times). I think Ferguson will use Foster more often next season if Foster decides to stay in Old Trafford. He's Englishman, big, strong. Kuszcak is a good one also. But as I said before, he needs to be more brave against the enemy.
I actually like the youngster like Ben Amos and Robert Zieler (used them many times on FM games :p), but it's very unlikely that Ferguson will promote them soon.

ha, so you mention Valdez. Quite similar, eh? I guess you're right. They are not too good on long-range shot.

I don't either one is ready to become Van der Sar's successor. Though Foster is currently a member of the Engliand National team, his performance in MU is still unstable, while Kuszcak sometimes makes fatal blunders. But I have to choose, I'd rather chose Foster because he's still young and can learn much more and become much greater than Van der Sar if he practices really hard.

Yeah, Foster is England goalkeeper because he is likely to be the best at the moment. David James is injured, Robert Green concedes too much and grew old. Kuszcak is still young also, right? So both of them will really have time to shine in the future. Both sometimes give a really great appearance (like Foster against Arsenal and Kuszcak against Portsmouth lately), but sometimes they really make an unnecessary blunder (Foster against City?? and remember Kuszcak on Champions League last season against Sporting Lisbon?). Well, van den Sar sometimes make unnecessary blunder also, but he can keep his consistency more often than his deputies, that makes him better.

Ben Foster is very vulnerable with high crosses and Kuszak has problems with rushing out and collecting the ball.Neither seems ready to replace Van der Saar. However, the big Dutchman has to go and I hope Sir Alex will look beyond the goalkeepers he has to get someone more efficient while still using them occasionally till they are ready.For me Kuszak is a better choice though.

Don't know about what we have know, though PIG ala Kuszcak his having some great performances until lately, Foster should be ashamed of himself for asking more play time when you look at his form, he should be no where near the 1st team side.

You bet. Kuszcak seems to have his best time currently. Many great saves, great reflexes by him on previous matches. I hope he can maintain his performance. And for Foster, he needs to be more ready whenever the time comes. I believe these two will become superb goalkeeper for Manchester United.

I don't think either of them are ready for this job. But I think Foster will get the position becaus, I my opinion, is better than Kuszcak at many things.

It's hard to choose one of them. But I think Fergie should choose Foster as the number one. He's a very good goalkeeper. He just need more experiences to improve his abilities.
It will be good for the England national team if Foster has more games to play.
