I know my middle does she's only 4. My 2yo doesn't understand who Santa is exactly yet. My oldest is teetering on knowing that there isn't a Santa. Though I've talked to her about not wrecking it for her siblings that we buy more gifts than Santa & Santa works in a budget

my kid is 7 and she does not believe there is a Santa Claus. She is planning to stay awake on Christmas Eve to catch Santa at work! She says all doors and windows remaining closed how does Santa bring her presents? She believes it is her parents who provide her gifts. She does mind the presents but would like to meet Santa and then believe in the existence of Santa.

I would just say something to the effect he's magical and no one really know's how he does it. Perhaps even a magical skeleton key that fits every lock in the world for those whom don't have chimneys? Have you ever looked up the history of Santa? He was a real person but not the same as he is commercially portrayed now. I'd say if she was older you could have her read about the man whom Santa is based on, even for yourself it's an interesting read. http://www.stnicholascenter.org/Brix?pageID=38

My oldest is 12 and even though I've told him Santa doesn't exist, he doesn't believe me. So yes, all of my kids believe in Santa.

That's great he still believes! Though I'm surprised classmates & friends have not shared their opinion to him as well as we all know our peers can be more influential than our parents.

I never did believe in Santa. My parents never tried to do that. I accidentally spilled it once to an eight year old. He was eight, and I guess I thought since I was eight he would have known. But I quickly recovered when he was confused by my denial of Santa. To my knowledge, he didn't catch on until he was ten. My mom and dad didn't tell the whole Santa thing to my sister and me, but we WERE told not to ruin it for other kids.

My son does not believe in Santa anymore, but he is playing along for my almost 3 year old. She does not really understand the whole Santa thing really, but she knows that there is someone called Santa. I am not sure how long I will let her think there is a Santa.

My son is 10 and he just informed me that he does not believe in Santa! He has not for awhile and he did not say anything because he did not want to hurt my feelings! After he told me, I think he felt bad because he was starting to change his mind. But it was so obvious that he just felt bad:(

Hi snugglebunnies, my son takes after me and was always too sceptical about that kind of thing so never believed in santa, or the tooth fairy, religious beings or fairies. This is most excellent as he was then never disappointed as he would have been if he'd caught me out telling so many lies.
