Vampire Diaries or True Blood?

If you are into vampire stories and folklore then definitely you would go for True Blood. Vampire Diaries is to "immature" but i must say they exerted real effort making the story and situation interesting enough for the audience to follow. Plus they used the power of aesthetics and casted hotties for the major roles which is very very appealing especially for teenagers. Hotties with acting abilities if i may add..hehehehe True Blood however have their flaws, seemed during the middle of season two they changed director or writer..not sure..but something really went 180 and almost created a mess...after the Godric story...i dont know what happend... i hope they fix it and save Season 3...

True Blood gets my vote too. I watch the Diaries with my 13 year old neice, but would never let her watch True Blood at this age. The shows are completely different and definitely aimed at 2 completely different audiences. Vampires in Diaries are alot tamer than in Tru Blood..but they don't have anything on them in the hottness factor. There's a couple of hotties on tru blood too.

I saw both TV shows also, and I would have to choose true blood over vampire diaries, because true blood has a slightly different take on vampires and its centred around adults instead of teens, not that it matters that much, but I like the fact that true blood seems to have more full grown characters and the vampires are not secret and they live in human society that makes it a bit different. also true blood has a bit of comedy in it, much like the show six feet under did, and vampire diaries seems to much like twilight dont get me wrong I enjoyed twilight but I think that if the TV networks are gonna make another TV show about vamps it should be about somthing we haven't seen before.

Same here. I have only watched vampire diaries and haven't watched true blood. I think Vampire diaries is amazing. The story, the characters the setting. It's just really interesting and you couldn't wait for the next episode to come out. I've heard true blood too from several of my friends and they said it is amazing too. I think I'm gonna start watching it so that I could eventually compare it to vampire diaries. But for now, I'd go for vampire diaries because stephen is such a hottie. =)
