Some people think money than health, they did their work forget them need to take care of health, they work hard and don't eat breakfast, lunch and dinner timely, they spent all their energy to work and earn more, then they forget they will cause bad health. I think we need health and money too, though money can buy much things, but money can't buy any health. So when we work at the same time we need to take health as our first considering. Give your advise here.

This is easy to answer. Of course your health is more important, How are you going to enjoy your money if you can't even walk straight. I mean, even if you have all the money in the world, and you are a sick person, it is still useless, you can't enjoy it. We should always be conscious and careful with our health because that is the main reason why we could all the things we are doing in our lives.

Yeah, I think so. But many people can't understand why they work hard, they envn save all of their money do anything. I think it's very tired to do that, one side we earn money want to live a good life, but they don't want use one cent to buy anything, they cause their bad health.

Hello, bettydeng, I absolutely agree with you! I always think health is more important than money.
I just heard this opinion, they said we can regard "health" as figure "1", and regard your property and social class as figure "0" after the figure "1". For example, the number 1,000, 1 means you're healthy, and zeroes may mean mansion, high social class, lots of money,... what you own. Then you have a happy family, you can also add one more zeroes after these zeroes.
So you will find the number is larger and larger, every zero can make the number biger. But just imagine, if you lost healthy, that means the figure 1 disappeared. What happens? one "zero" means same as many "zeroes" - none.

Yes I agree that health is important than money but we need also money just to survive and pay our medical expenses. It is hard sometimes to think about our health if we have financial worries so we need to work hard to sustain our needs. I think we need to balance everything listen to your body and don't push too hard if your body can't cooperate with you.

I think health is very important or most important of all even money. you just cant enjoy your hard earned money if u are not able to stand. or you are not well . if i had to choose between less money and more health than i will probably choose the health. it is the greatest blessing as healthy mind is happy and gave rise to happy feelings.money cant buy everything.

yes, the health is very more important than money because without life you don't need money.
Money is secundary but people need.
I have said without money don't are a good life, but the money don't buy the health.

Hello Betty
I have to be honest I was one of those People my time was split between working and bringing up 2 wonderful Children
You are right it is not healthy and not worth it
I collapsed a few times just through tiredness and not eating properly
I do not suggest this to anyone and now I try to tell my Son to slow down as he is doing what I did, the difference he has no children, but he works and works and then forgets to eat, my Daughter does eat, but she can eat at work so that is good

I think most people understand that health is more important than money, even the ones that overwork. Its just that they are trying to beat the odds. Its all a matter of risk. Yes, overworking increases your risk of bad health, but increasing risk is not certain bad health. I guess they feel they can push the envelop a bit and get away with it. Why not get a bit more money if you work harder and nothing bad happens to your health. Its a risk yes, but one that many people feel they can manage.

Hi bettydeng5, when we are young, we do not really realize how precious health is and so tend to eat and drink whatever we like in large quantities, without corresponding levels of activity. As we grow we face facts about various health problems, and costs associated with treating them. But by the time it is too late. So we redouble our efforts to accumulate monies for our treatments. In process, we are working forever!

yes bettydeng5, i agree that health is more important than money. if we have good health we can work and earn easily. some people gives important to money than their health, always gives perference to doing work for day and night. Atlast they get in sick and give all their earnings to doctors. so i give importance to my health first than money.

Here's my advice, the best way to earn and save money is to look up to your health for the first place because you cannot give your full potential in your work with poor health and your money might be spent for medications or something if you dont take care of your health in the first place

Money is not everything. Money can't buy pure love or your own health. Once a person is diagnosed with diseases such as weak heart, diabetes etc, there are no turning points from that. We can't buy the cure because the real cure is not yet created and publicly known. It is better to take the middle road, where health and money considered as important to one who has a career. After all, if we not healthy then how people can expect we are doing the very best in jobs that we

Health is far more important than money to me. Yes, money can buy you things, but your health is really something that money cannot buy, and it's too bad that some people cannot see this. Growing vegetables and fruit. Walking, jogging, and exercising of any kind keeps you in shape. Going to the doctor when you really have to. Health is very important. Heck, after I pay bills, I spend most all of my money on making sure that I am healthy. My health is first.

yup, health is the things which money could not buy. everyone should treat health like a precious gem as one could not enjoy life with a lot of illnesses. even though you have money and you neglect your health it would likely feel yourself much poorer because you never feel good about yourself. need to be healthy as being healthy you could work, enjoy and have fun more in your life.

I think both are important. If you have money and no health, you can not enjoy your money. Similarly if you are health and fit but have nothing to enjoy with, life seems boring, and a healthy man can not stay healthy if he or she lacks money to survive on.

hi,friend, nice discussion and every member has to think twice on this subject.Well,me too accept like any other, that health is imp. than money..
But in realistic society, people prepared for getting ill health, but they won't get satisfying in earning...
That's why see..99% of the richest people got Diabetic,B.P.,Heart problems,Gastric problems..all because of their concentration on earning without taking care on health made them like that..
Have a nice time.

Hi Bettydeng, this is definitely an issue for everyday people, because in our contemporary society, even the average Joe will lead a very busy life. Whether it be waking up early and skipping breakfast to spending hours in traffic and getting to work and missing lunch in order to catch up on the time you've missed and eventually eating late and leaving work late, we all have hectic lifestyles.
Therefore almost everyone has put down their own health down on the list of priorities to care about. You say that money can't buy health, well in some cases they can, although not for everyone. For instance, if you were the King of Saudi Arabia, or the Queen of England, you would have so many resources and funds on hand to care for any ailment. But where does this seemingly endless supply of help end, and one becomes another average Joe? If the Queen comes down with an illness such as cancer almost in the last stages, then no matter how much money she may have she would have a similar prognosis to that of you and I.
Therefore, we must always strike a middle ground when it comes to our health and finances, because there is simply no point being a health fanatic and not having the finances to enjoy the extra years that your good health will afford you. Likewise, there is no point being an Investment Banker earning millions of dollars a year, if you spend 60-80 hours in the office crunching numbers. We must strike a balance.
