Ziddu is dangerous site?

Hi, have you ever been warned when you visit ziddu and telling you that ziddu is dangerous site? I installed security software (I forget what it names)and it always warn me if ziddu is dangerous site. I don't know what parameter used by my software, so categorize ziddu as dangerous.

mynareswara That's right many file hosting nowadays are also feeding malware and spyware. I am aware of it, but so far I still didn't notice this when I visit ziddu or maybe because my Anti Virus is not properly updated due to FREE version.

i don't the site is dangerous but the files that we download are. we should have our strong antivirus. viruses always go with the files downloaded.

Ziddu is a dangerous site if you are not careful. Ziddu pays users to upload files. They pay a set amount for every 1000 downloads. It really depends on what you download. I have uploaded clean files. Some people could upload viruses. I am not sure how Ziddu monitors the files if they do so at all. Make sure that your security software is valid. Sometimes, software claiming to be security software is really security and not malware. I once had a nasty virus a few years ago called Windows Cop and it looked like a security program. It would try to mimic a virus and try to get you to buy something. I am not sure if it deleted files, or keylogged anything. I would guess that it did because my computer crashed a few days later.
