If you were to choose to live forever or live and die?

Hello Amy. We have a great life. We don't really have much but we have each other and it is a happy life. But when it is my time to die I want to go on. I don't want to live in life support. I love my honey and my honey loves me there is no doubt about it. But I was hit by a car years ago and did die for a few moments and I went to heavens gates and if I had my choice then I would have never come back. So I know what is waiting on the other side of this life. And believe me it is a much better place to be.

Many people have different opinions about this subject, expecailly due to religious beliefes. In my case, I know for one thing that life's too short and one person, throughout his entire life would have not accomplished everything that he/she would have wanted to do because there is always that something else. I would like to live forever for several reasons...Some being, to be able to see your great, great, great grand kids, to accomplish more things in life, to be able to see how things over time change and so much more.

If someone offered me a chance to live forever I'd take it because of my daughters. I was told that if something were to happen to me that my ex would be able to come and try to gain custody of them. Hes not suppose to come near us but that is what my lawyer said to me. I will be damned before I let my step mother raise them and the rest of my family isn't ready for kids or thier kids are screwed up. I want to be able to be there and protect them through their lives with no worries.

If all the people will live forever and no one will die, I prefer to live forever to. But if only I will live forever and watch the others dying, I prefer to live and die, because what's life without our beloved ones?

You are right it is hard to see someone die especially if that person is a part of the family. For me if given a chance I will prefer to live forever or immortal as long as my body will not deteriorate so that I can see to it that my son grow & have anything that he needed. A want to see him have his own family & see my grandchildren grow & get educated. If only God will grant wishes surely that will be number 1 in my list.

In my opinion, I would not prefer to live forever. Many people would feel the same...since no one can be perfect in his/her health always..No one can remain wealthy the whole life....I mean no one can lead a perfect life since the world is full of pain and sufferings...I dont say that the joys are limited...But if u see in the current position, there are many sufferings, jealousy, sadness prevailing in the world...I would not be able to live in such a world forever!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to live forever but not on our present state as mortals. We all can live forever as immortals on God's grace after His second coming and live a life with no end, no more problems, no more famine,no more war, no more AIDS epidemic, natural calamities etc.. if and only if we could follow all HIS wishes of how to live a righteous life here on earth.

Given the choice...I'd like to live forever. Just last night, my girlfriend and I were watching a 1960's rock 'n roll movie on TV, and were amazed at the technological advances we've made over the years. I said to her; "I wonder what the world will look like technology wise, 100 years from now?" She said; "Oh, I'm sure you'll live long enough to see it come around." I laughed and said; "Hah, I don't think so, but it would be interesting to see how far we've come." The truth is, I WOULD like to see it! The only other thing I would want, is to be able to keep the age I am at now. If there was a way, believe me...I would do it! I think it would be fascinating. cdrxo

If am given a chance to live forever I prefer to be a hero. I want to help people suffer from injustices and weak...I want to eliminate terrorist to stop the killings of more innocent people...

I like to choose to live and if their is a way to obtain I'll be the one to volunteer nothing beat being alive. I do not like to grow old just being a middle adults. it is good than to die miserable with unfinished business.

I cannot currently make that decission because living forever no longer makes you human, also as time passes the ones you have come to love will grow old and slowly but surely fad away into nothingness. But it would be nice to see what happens as the world changes, to see if it is doomed or if it will technologicly enhance itself to beat all of the enviromment, hi=unger and water problems we have up to this date.

Hi Amyson,if at all given a chance i would love to live forever provided i stay young all my life else it would be real suffering for you to look at yourselves aging but nothing and at that time you repent for taking a wrong decision. i think it would be better if we can offer life to each and every one to enjoy the life for the complete 100 years rather than coming accross small kids who die out of some rare health disorders. well our life will be a lot bored if we live longer and i want to live a healthy life and lead a natural way of life.
