Are Liverpool already out of the Title race?

After a poor start to the season many experts are saying Liverpool now have no chance of winning the Premier League. What do you think? There are even some doubts amongst experts as to whether Liverpool can finish in the top 4! If they fail to finish in the top 4, should Benitez be fired?

I have serious doubt if they will stay in the league if they keep playing like this. Things will snowball, you may never know.

Come on! Let's see the points... 30 Chelsea 28 Man United 25 Arsenal 25 Tottenham 22 Aston Villa 21 Man City 20 Liverpool 20 Sunderland If the little Torres scores 10 goals every 13 matches is "impossible" that Liverpool come back in Second Series (Premiership... right?)!!!

Following the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal today, Liverpool are definitely out of the title race, i even doubt they will get champions league, that 4th spot is going to either man city or tottenham.

I think they are out of the title race, but they definitely can finish in the top 4. With Tottenham, Aston Villa and Man City all drawing their matches, if Liverpool wins the derby today, they are back within a shout of the top 4 finish. I guess that is their realistic target this year from here on. I think they will also concentrate on the FA cup this year. I think it is time for Benitez to be fired. He has bought 80 odd players for the club and still does not have a decent team!! Cheers! Ram

absolutely yes there is no chance anymore to win the premier trophy i think the realistic target for gerrard cs is to secure their champions league ticket next season

13 points are too much. This year Liverpool losts a great footballplayer like Xabi Alonso. Alberto Aquilani and Yossi Benayoun didn't play one match yet. I think it's hard, but with these two players on the starting 11 Liverpool can reach the top 4...

I dont think Liverpool can compete for the title this season. They lack the cutting edge and more over the players like ryan babel and andres dossenna lack in confidence and are ultimately left over the squad. My bet would be Liverpool would finish in top you but will not take the title. And if that happens then rafa for sure will be sacked.Lets wait and see what happens this season for Liverpool and rafa.

Well if only Liverpool is on the tittle race in the first place or not lol ... how long since they had won the premier league yea . They had not been constant , that is the problem with the squad.
