Many parents believe that watching educational programs will stimulate baby's brains and actually promote learning. How do you think? Do you allow your baby to watch TV/DVD? Appreciated your sharing.

Hmmm... Personally I dont agree with children watching TV, my daughter watch Dora the Explorer and that is it thats all they are allowed to watch. I dont like them watching TV as I wasnt allowed to watch much TV and I think it has made me slightly more intelligent than I would be if I watched alot of TV. I think some shows are good for children but I prefer to teach my kids myself. I mean my oldest daughter is 17 months and already she can count to 5 she knows what every part of her body is she is nearly potty trained, she has brilliant speech. I have been told by my health visitor this is because I put so much itno them and dont et them watch much TV. My youngest daughter is 3 months, she can roll over, say dada, cap, sit up and the usual smile and laugh.
