Aiming higher makes them call me a dreamer! Why are they Judging me?

In everything I do in life , I have always tried to do it to the best of my abilities , In certain situations I have found people who do not appreciate my thoroughness and prefer to call me names or laugh behind my back because of being who I am in life.
I don't know if this makes me a perfectionist ... I am not sure how people here will respond to this , but I do know one thing ... that I like aiming higher than everyone else ...
This has made people call me a dreamer , which in their ugly sense probably means an under achiever.Well, maybe I am overreacting , or maybe I am not in my place to judge others the way I think they are judging me ... I am confused on how to deal with people always putting me on the spot for being different ... what should I do?

You should aim higher why not do everything to the best of youer abilty I know I do and it gets me respect! I respect every single person especially if theyvtry that little bit harder to get what they want and need becasue people that aim high get high! Well done on having the right frame of mind!

I am a guy , and most of the negative sentiments that I get are from girls who love to live the fast life , they say that my lifestyle is very static and they want excitement ... I just want to do something and prove to people that I have not been wasting my life with paying attention to details. ... I think aiming higher comes with a cost to ones social life ..as such I may be doomed.

"Dreams are the roads to success". It is only if we dream and visualise that we can act upon our dreams at a later stage. If we do not dream then very often the reality is not a stimulant enough for us to go higher and achieve. So I believe that those who dare to do also dare to dream!!
