hi charmz, I have my paypal account verified just recently. In my case, I used my credit card for verification of my account, then for receiving money I link my savings account which is also my atm card to my paypal. If you happen not to have both, you can try eon of union bank. I actually want to try it out but got no time to visit one of their branches. You can check out their web page and it will tell you how it works. And by the way, they need your TIN number make sure you have one. Because I tried to call their office in Makati and they ask for my TIN since I am working already. Happy Lotting!

go to unionbank and get an eon cyberaccount that is the only paypal accredited i guess in the PH.. you only need a 2 photo copy of your 2 ID's and a TIN number if you have but if you are just a student you need something like a statement of account from your school. But i guess that depends on what branch of Unionbank you will apply coz my sister applied in tuguegarao city (that's where she lives) she only needed a photo copies of her 2 ID's. with your eon cyberaccount you can get it after a week and it will be activated after a week also..there is no maintaining balance and it is a debit VISA card which means you can also use to purchase online (if there is a balance in your account). you can also access your account online (unionbank website). it only takes 3 days to withdraw your money from paypal (meaning you receive your money you withdraw from paypal in just 3 days). hope this helps you...happy mylotting

Hi Charmz, My paypal account is link to Unionbank. So better that you open an account with them or maybe you can ask them for some details. But you can explore other options than opening a bank account if there are other ways. It will save some money. But is there is really a NEED, then you can check it out with Unionbank. I don't know other banks connected with paypal. Goodluck!

You can check union bank's EON card, check their website on how to apply for one or you can visit any of their branches. I believe, Union banks's EON card is the most used card when it comes to online transactions. Cheers!

There are 3 ways to withdraw the money from paypal, I am aware of. However I am very uncertain about one of the ways i.e withdrawing money via cheque because I have never tried this and moreover its not applicable for me either. I have got my account verified using a credit card however, you can get your account verified using a debit card too. In both the cases, Paypal sends you a pin which u need to re-enter to complete the registration process. Withdrawing money becomes more secure if you are a verified paypal member. However, i have heard people saying that they withdrew the money even though they were not verified users. Now coming on to the ways, you can either withdraw the money directly into your bank account for which you will be charged 50Rs (1$) if the amount is less than 7000Rs (140$) and no charges if the amount is more than that. If you are withdrawing the money to your credit card, you will be charged 5$ for the transaction. However, in boht the cases, there will be some fees from the bank too.

I don't know about Smartmoney and it is also my problem. I'm planning to apply for eoncard in Unionbank because it is the easiest and cheap way to transfer money to paypal.

Paypal alows its members to transfer the money directly to their bank accounts if at all it is an NEFT bank.which means the bank account you are going to add must accept money transfers from all over the world. Hope this works for you.gud day.

Dude! I am using eon debit card from union bank. You need to apply for that, cause it can be verified with your paypal account. But before you verify your union bank eon debit card, you still have to wait for almost 3 weeks, just like what union bank instructed me. And then after that, you should also register at union bank online banking, you need to register that eon debit card then wait for two days. Then verify your paypal with your debit card, paypal will get an amount of 1.95 dollars for the process of verification. But they will return the $1.95 to you. After the account is verified, and then you can now withdraw money to your paypal account and deposit it directly to your debit card. That is the process, when using an eon debit card of union bank. You can call union bank on how you can acquire a debit card, they will give you all the instructions and requirements that you need to open for one. You do not need a large amount of money for that.

You just need to give your email address of paypal to the site which pays you then they will automatically transfer the amount to your pay pal account , no need of bank acounts.

I haven't applied a paypal yet and also don't know how. Just searched on the internet but seems very complex.
