My friend brought a new cell phone last month. but it was not a branded company. It seems like a china made in piece. He brought it for some 3000/-. yesterday suudenly the display was not visible. it almost got damaged. when went and asked the dealer he told that he is not responsible for it. so friends be careful in bying cellphones which are not branded.

hi, most company will ask you if you want to buy the insurance and if the phone has no insurance then you take a rise. well, if the phone just bought and it works not properly then you can return for a fix.

Ya, the shop keepers usually give that kind of comment for electronic gadgets, but this is the first time I am hearing about a mobile phone. The reasons may be 1. Every time I have bought a mobile phone, I browse the net for atleast 15 mins, analyse the features of the product. 2. Ask some of my friends about their review. 3. Go to a shop that has number of branches in the city, and customer services Remember a mobile phone is like a friend, you have to sleep next to it, talk to it, show your anger by typing hard in it, recharge it like you take your friends out. So never find a cheap way of getting a friend.

hi there! I like your tips! very nice! Same as you, I also search the item I am planning to buy on the net and see what its good points and cons especially, if it was like an electronic equipment such as laptops, mobile phones, dvd player..etc. I think doing some research will help us more to find "good buys". Happy Lotting!

Hi, sundarboss99. I am very sorry about your friend being ripped off. I try not to order from a third party source. That is when things can become complicated. I would rather go inside of a store so that I can see what I am ordering. There are many crooks out here that enjoy taking others money. Your friend may need to look into a cell phone that has a well known brand name. He will do better with one as this.

hi sundar, Oh that's sad. You mean to say he bought it with out any warranty? Ughh! that is hard when buying electronic stuff without warranty or after-service. Sometimes we think that we can save some money in buying unbranded electronic gadgets but in the end, it cost us more. Hope he will able to buy a new one and that vendor who sell him that item is really the one who is responsible for the goods, because your friend wasn't able to use it at all. He must demand for at least a replacement or repair of the said item. happy lotting!

That's a shame. I take it this place wasn't a very well-known or trusted provider. I'm also asuming there was no warnty. That's why I only stick with phones provided by my carrier. My advice, trash it, and report the compny for theft or something along those lines. Because its basically fruad to do something like that. A lot of countries don't take to kindly to it. Check out policies against crooks and don't delay. You may get your money back or a replacment.

im so sorry to hear that. next time you have to be carefull of buying things. dont think that the cheaper is better. if you really want something go for the better brand, even though its expensive youll know that you get what you payed for. china is known for knock offs so you have to be carefull. grab a phone in a registered cellphone trader so youll get warranty and they can change it when something bad happens to it like defect or malfunctioning

Yes, thank you for warning us about these type of phones. Something not branded means no guarantee.. something you should run from.
