Chelsea again showed its dominance in the Premier League of England. After Liverpool and Manchester United, Arsenal are now the victims of Chelsea. The Blues humiliate Arsenal 3-0 at Emirates Stadium, Monday (30/11) Didier Drogba became Chelsea's key to success. Two goals successfully printed Drogba minute 41 and 86. and , one other goal born out of an own goal Thomas Vermaelen minute 45. what do you think ? are you shocked or had you predicted that Chelsea will win in Arsenal`s home?

Fantastic performance from Chelsea. The match was over in the last five minutes of the first half where in first Drogba scored and then the Vermaeleun own goal. Drogba then scored the classic free kick to bury Arsenal. Another match where Arsenal were completely clueless in the final quarter after good build up play. Chelsea were defending fantastically. I think this year they look frightening. I think they will take the EPL unless the departure of players for African Cup seriously depletes them. Cheers! Ram

And also one of the worst by gunners this season. There was no cutting edge to their passing game at all!! Cheers! Ram

Chelsea have done it again. They showed Arsenal how to play professional football. Every time Arsenal attacked they ran into a wall of defenders. The ref gave the right decision against arsenal for eduardo kicking the ball from chec's arms. Nice game though.

I read a comment on another site from someone saying Arsenal would be title challengers if they bought another top striker but I disagree as I feel the reason Arsenal are losing out for the title is that they have too many similar players in midfield. If you look at Sunday's game. Arsenal - Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin, Song. For anyone watching it was clear to see that these players are too similar for the team to get the right balance consistently. They are all very talented players going forward except maybe Song but with the exception of maybe Fabregas they are not good defensively and lack an all round game to come out on top. Chelsea - Mikel, Cole, Lampard, Essien. Here you have three players who are fantastic going forward with a combative midfielder in Mikel. Essien can also get stuck in and they can all find ways to win when not playing their best football.

hm.ic, it`s not easy to find a strong character to be defend in Arsenal midfielder.i see only two of Midfielder Arsenal had a such characteristic are Cesc Fabregas and Song. the other midfielder is only strong when attack but poor when under attack.I think Wenger had to think again to buy another strong defensif midfielder to be duet Fabregas.

They are lucky.. If Arshavin's goal has not been disallowed then its a different ball game. Chelsea are always lucky in premier league.. deflections, last min goals etc etc. What goes in is what comes out. classic example: Champions league semis vs barca. Hope they drop points after christmas.

adhyz82, I was not surprised and had infact predicted Chelsea to win as Arsenal is without Robin van Persie, which is the biggest blow for them, as he will be out for the whole season. Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas, just seemed to lack the confidence when he is alone and coach Wenger will have to get something going to partner him. His performance during the Chelsea match was just far from his former shadow. Besides, Arsenal's both Denilson and Gallas fitness before the match was still a doubt and with the harsh weather conditions, the team is just playing at depleted strength. So, the scoreline is what I had anticipated 0-2/0-3. I really hope that coach Wenger will have something up his sleeve for a replacement to his star striker Robin van Persie whose services, I am sure is dearly missed by Arsenal. Compliments of the season.

adhyz82, I do agree that soccer is a team sport but you need to remember that a coach culture is one thing but whether the line up can gel is another. If you looked at the game as per say, you will need to agree that vital gel was not there and it affects the confidence of the players and eventually the overall performance. Also, you need to look at another perspective where teams like Arsenal are heavily involved with both the domestic and European league - not forgetting his players are involved in International competitions as well. So, with such a heavy schedule, there are just a lot of risks like injury and fatigue and you just cannot afford to have your whims and fancies. You just need players with an exceptional knack of consistency and confidence to bring the game up. Coach Wenger is just trying to quell down the financial crisis which is being faced by many clubs around the world. I mean let's face it would you want to sell your good players whom you have trained and gel as a team in the first place? His diplomacy here is not to be mistaken that he has something up his sleeve. If his midfielders cannot gel with the forwards even if you have the best in either departments, you will still have a non performance or rather a failure on the pitch where it matters most.

hm, i think Arsenal play as a team, not a someone. i think it`s philosophy of Wenger, did not want to depends on someone. wanna proof? Wenger is bravely to sell Kolo Toure, Adebayor, Henry,Pires,Vierra etc. Because he believe thats not good for team to be depends on someone. I think Bendtnerr and Eduardo can replace RVP position

It was hardly a humiliation but Chelsea were very dominant. As a Manchester United fan I am getting increasingly worried about Chelsea as they seem to be on course for the title.

Chelsea had a facile win over Arsenal.the Gunners never really looked they were in the game. It was a very disappointing performance by such a good team. They and Liverpool seem to be out of the Championship race.Chelsea on the other hand seem to be going from strength to strength and are now clear title favourites having opened a gap of 5 points over Manchester United.

I was gutted; I thought Arsenal would edge it... But I also thought that it very much depended on which Arsenal side showed up - and it was the depressing "let's try to walk it into the net" lot, who dominated possession and passed the ball fairly well despite the rain, but never bothered to actually have a shot on goal. Just look at Liverpool's win against Everton - they played averagely at best, but then Mascherano pops up with a hopeful punt from miles away; it takes a wicked deflection and goes in. That was the winner. Arsenal just didn't bother to have a shot.
