has anyone been to hawaii?

hawaii is very popular and is suppose to be great, but I have heard from a few people that its not all thats its talked up to be...
what did you think when you went?
I am planning to go, but Id like to know if its actually worth going?

I have never been to Hawaii, but I would really like to go. I had a few friends that have been there and they really loved it. They also took some beautiful pictures of the place. I think it would be worth it, I dont see how it would be a negative experience in any way!

I just heard that it was pricey, and that the food was not really good.
I'm sure the scenery will be magnificent though =D

nobodyisperfect, believe me it is beautiful when we went we had so much snorkeling, we had a helicopter tour, the view from our oceanfront hotel was just amazing. Dont listen to anyone if they say its not worth it. Hope you take my advice and go. You'll love it. It will make so much memories. Hope this helped. Happy MyLotting.

Hawaii is such a small place. When you are in Hawaii, it is best to stay for only around 4 days. Hawaii is mostly about beaches only. Aside from the beach, there is nothing much to do there. For example, when I stayed in Hawaii for 5 days, I was very bored starting the 3rd day. Sightseeing takes up only half a day. As for shopping, there is not much there in Hawaii. So I was left with no choice but to swim every day and hang out at the beach. But I have to say, their beaches are wonderful. Next time I go there, I would stay for 3 days and 2 nights only. For me, that is the perfect duration of travel in Hawaii.
