and all your interested in is scrambling to make pay out by tomorrow and have nothing to say even remotely intelligent or anything comprehensive to say, no deep thoughtfull pearls of wisdom, no universe revealing questions?
Yeh, this is one of those discussions. No point, no relevence, no nothing, just a thread that is virgin territory for deveolution in to a flame war, a sand box, or your favorite color icecream to write about while thinking of pizza toppings to put on your palin shaped pizza for your "the world isn't ending" 2012 party.
Wow.....this is pitiful.

Hi xfahctor, never never, I got caught out early with that and it wasn't even for payout. My ten year old asked me to pose a question - why does pizza come in square boxes? I could see the potential drawback in the possible answers so did say feel free to chat about other pizza related things. I believe most of the 35 responses were totally identical but luckily Mike had challenged me to make original and witty responses back. Now your thread here has many more possiblities for going off topic thus isn't one of those kind of discussions at all. They really are best left to the ones who never respond.

Well, the beauty of this one I supose, is that there is no topic. It's just a thread, a blank canvas for what ever. Why does pizza come in square boxes anyway? My daughter works for a pizza shop and I think she even brought that question up a while ago. Don't know if she ever got a straight answer though.

I have found that 90% of the folks responding to discusions never read the entire discusion, it is sometimes BLATENTLY obvious. the other 10% probably do read it, but either do not comprehend or are just trying to increase their post count so they respond with the same thing anyways.
I supose the pizaa box thing makes sense, but can't have sense here can we.

Well the recurring answer as stated by 35 people who failed to read a single response which had come before theirs was 'because its cheaper to make square boxes'. To be fair there were a few original answers at the beginning which had the potential to make it interesting but then mass metality took over, too many people used to answering pizza toppings I felt.

I have found that the best solution to that problem is to roam around mylot responding to the discussions that everyone else starts...like this one!
A flame war would certainly spice things up though. Come on, X, get your mind in gear and start one.

I don't think all discussions NEED to be relevant, or thought-provoking. Or life-changing. I mean, it's just a discussion board. We're free to discuss pretty much anything we'd like: why not throw a few silly, pointless ones in the mix? It's not all about being serious. I think everyone does it at one point or another.

[wonders how to flame a certain person in this discussion]
there is a certain user on mylot, who i will not refer to by name (it has an x in it), who only ever starts discussions about 2013 and squirrels (then there is an f), and quite frankly (then an a) he is becoming (then an h) rather (then a c) monotonous. some of you (then a t) may have encountered this (then an o) tedious person and his endless squirrel based discussions (might be an r at the end) in those sections that i now avoid.*
*'squirrels'
and '2013'

Well, if you like, I can persuade this person to start a relevent in depth discussion in "fluffy hamsters" about goat abductions. But this may well be beyond their intelectual abilities (or their concern for that matter) and we certainly don't want to be responsable for someone's stroke do we?
