I'm about to go on a 2000 mile road trip this next week so I need some good road trip music. I need a good beat that I can jam to!

I do have some Linkin Park in my car, as well as the Pussycat Dolls! I'll have to dig them out... it has been awhile since I've listened to them. Thanks for the suggestions! I think those are great choices for road trip music.

Depends on what kind of music you enjoy. If you like rock, you could try some Avenged Sevenfold. Not sure if it's great roadtrip music, but it is great music period, so of course I am going to suggest it. Metallica, Buck Cherry, Megadeth, I love anything that just gets me going! I don't know about you. Otherwise classic rock is also a good choice. Especially if you're going out to the country - it seems oddly appropriate. Have a good road trip!

In my opinion, AC DC works in any situation. You are kind of young, so a lot of my other recommendations might not be helpful. But, if you would like here is a few. Bad Bad Leroy Brown has a great beat, I think that's by Jim Croce. There's another one on the same album that's really upbeat, I think it's called Big Jim Walker. Elton John's Crocodile Rock is a good one. Billy Joel's Uptown Girl is one of my favorites. Hank Williams Jr. had a number of upbeat hits that would be great to travel to. I hope you have a wonderful journey. I haven't done anything like this in a long time. I also hope you have someone fun to go along with you!

You should really download a lot of Sublime, Blink-182, and Smash Mouth. They will keep you screaming the lyrics forever! Oh, and Papa Roach is a good mood hiker, too. Just make sure that none of their songs are too depressing! I hope you have a good time on your trip, and be sure to pack a lot of snacks!!!
