There are alot of different music types, along with singers and bands. My favorite music genre is metal. Metal relates to me, and I love to screamo. My favorite metal bands would have to be Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon and Drop Dead Gorgeous. What's your favorite music genre? And do you have a specific music artist?

NO actually its not rock per se, as i said is power metal, its has a similar trait with speed metal or thrash metal, though their sound is different and one can easily differ between them. The most famous bands on this genre are Stratovarius, Gamma Ray and Helloween(which are the three bands known as the ones who stablished the genre). Im not sure about the origins of symphonic but in general those bands have a female singer(like nightwish and witin temptation) and sometimes use symphonic orchestras to play with the band.
By the way the sound of power or symphonic is totally different from the one from Motorhead or Nirvana(bands who i dont like actually).

So you are into Alternative Metal, which would be like normal Rock. I think Pulse Ultra is that, but I'm not sure. And the only bands I know that is close to the category and still metal would be the Thrash/Speed Metal. (Like Motorhead, Nirvana, etc.)

My Favorite music genre is POP. Because Pop Music really invites you into the dancefloor. It let's dance into the groove. My favorite Pop artist is Ms. Britney Spears. She's very popular and versatile

My sister is the one who loved Pop. I don't like it much, but one pop artist I like is Micheal Jackson. Don't know why, his music, and dance is really cool. (But really hard to do especially when he did the titling without falling thing, lol I don't know the name of it.)

Well my favourite genre is techno and house. Anything in those genres is good. Fun to party and dance to. My favourite band is Alexisonfire, who isn't a techno or house band. I guess it could be labeled as alternative....or like.. a softer version of metal. Either way, they are AMAZING!

Techno is great for a montage. And I do have to admit, it does have good beats to dance to. And I think that Alecisonfire would be labeled Alternative Metal. (Alternative Metal is a softer metal, but where Alternative Rock is rock with a bit of rap in it.) I will have to listen to that band.

I really like reefer rock and ska-rock. It's so fun to listen to!! Some of the best bands are 311, Sublime, Pepper, and The Expendables, just to name a few. It's a great kind of music to listen to, because the bands have songs that can make you feel like jumping around, and if you are having a down day they have songs for that, too! I love my music!

Metal can make you jump as well, if you are with the song. If you don't like it well you might just leave. Lol, but like the band Slipknot, or System Of A Down, (and all similar bands) play something good to jump or dance or whatever you do when you listen to music.

So you're into the NuMetal and Thrash Metal it seems. Metallica is good but my favorite song from them would have to be Sad But True. And I heard of Korn, my friend from Iran sent me one of their songs in Persian. It sounded good but I couldn't understand it.

I enjoy alternative/rock the most. One of my favorite bands is The Spill Canvas, but Skillet and Decyfer Down are definitely creeping in there. Those bands are so amazing live and put on a great show. I tend to listen to all kinds of music, it just depends on the mood I'm in, but a majority of my music is from the alternative and rock genres.

Most people tend to listen to what they are feeling. But I don't really do that, if you were depressed wouldn't want to listen that would cheer you up? And it's funny how I got into metal slowly when I first started listening to music, which was of course Alternative Rock.
