I personally don't believe that God exists. There is absolutely no proof. At all. Don't you think that if there was a God, he would somehow show himself? People's belief in God is usually stemmed from their surroundings; if your parents are religious, you will be religious as well.
What do you think?

I don't neccessarily agree with your comment that "people's belief in God is stemmed from their surroundings". I think that is the case in some circumstances, but not all. I went to private Catholic schools my whole life, as did my sister. We were both raised in the same household and our parents weren't practicing Catholics or really religious at all. They were more spiritual. I, personally, do believe in some sort of a "God". In my mind there just has to be something out there bigger than us. I'm not what you would call a practicing Catholic at all. I don't really practice any religion, for that matter. I, like my parents, am more of a spiritual person. I have my own personal relationship with God, I live a good life and I feel I am a good person.
Now, my sister, who I mentioned also attended Catholic school her whole life, doesn't believe in God. I just think it depends. I think that most children will believe whatever it is they're told until they reach a certain age where they can (for lack of a better phrase) "think for themselves". In some cases they will maintain those beliefs. But there are others who will question it and develope beliefs of their own. I don't think that whether or not you believe in God makes you a good person. Your actions and the way you treat people is what makes you a good person.
