uh huh. a small minority of scientists dispute whether it is caused by human activity, nearly all (especially climatologists) think it is. the people trying to say it is a hoax have a political agenda, and if it is a hoax then it is one of the biggest, best organised ones the world has even seen, including as it must do practically all the worlds governments, the major ngos, the major charities, the vast majority of scientists, and just about everybody else. really don't think it is worth the risk guys.

hiya stelitos - well if you mean reducing carbon (and other) emissions (which also would help with air pollution, acidfication of the oceans, and the immense destruction caused by extracting fossil fuels) then on a personal level driving less, flying less and consuming less is the best start. i see you are very new here and hope you enjoy your stay, generally it is a good idea to have a bit more detail when you start a new discussion rather than just ask a very general question. anyway have fun
