Hi,
Didi you donated blood for some one or in blood bank. Me and my friends always used to donate blood for every 3 to four months. Donating blood will saves some strangers life or they may be our relatives or friends. And we too have a healthy life, when we donate blood.

Hello. That's wonderful. That certainly is a good deed in helping to save lives. Yes, I have donated blood too, to a blood bank. But, I have not been able to do it on a regular basis like you are doing. I do make donations to charity organizations which are helping the needy people around the world, e.g. World Vision, Red Cross.

Their duty is too collect things from other peoples and to help poors. From my friends, i came to know the worth of donating blood and i was continuing to donate and making others to donate blood. Any donation is always welcome, be it blood or anything. It is always a kind gesture to help anyone, the more so if it is something that would save lives. I haven't donated blood in the past. My oldest son likes to donate blood and always, when he hears about blood campaigns, he is sure to go. He says that it is good to donate blood because your blood will be replaced with a new supply. Once the body detects that your body supply is low, it automatically makes new blood cells to fill in the deficiency.

Yes friend, your son was correct. We need to recycle our blood cells, so that we can have a healthy life. When we donate blood and we have a healthy food, we doesn't need to go for medical check up. One of my friend advised to eat fruits in large numbers after donating the blood. It will helps to produce more blood cells and fight against viruses.

If we donate blood, some one will get life and also we will be healthy person. Don't bother about cheaters, he is not going to drink your blood or he doesn't throw it away. I think it will be their business to sold blood to hospitals and others. So keep donating. Have a nice day.

Hello Cognoscentethelegend. No I can't donate blood I have a iron deficiency my iron drops to where they can't tell if I have any iron in my blood or not. It has been this way all of my life. The doctors told my mother I wouldn't live to be 21 when I was 10 years old. I have to take geritol all of my life cause of that. If I could I would donate blood. I am proud of you and your friends for doing the right thing. Thank you for donating your blood!

Thanks but I have lived with this all of my life. I don't go to see doctors these days they are mostly quacks to me. I do eat healthy that is why I have lived so long. And I know that God must have something for me to do that is why I am still alive. Thanks again.

Hi there dear donator :)
As of today i too can be called a blood donator as i donated today in my company. This was part of a campaign of blood donation initialized by our city center that deals with them, and they came to us.
I expected to be more nasty than it actually was so i am happy with the experience. I know i probably helped someone's life, and i even got "paid" for it. We get 7 lunch tickets for donating (that's worth about 15 euros here) - not to much if you think about it, but every little helps.

I used to donate all the time, but one person told me I was "spervisor material only" because my veins are really hard to find. Once they are found I am easy...but they like to hide or roll which makes donating hard to do.

I would, but I know I would pass out, or throw up. Or throw up then pass out. I have never been good at getting my blood taken. Once when I was like 8 I had to get my tonsils (spelling?) taken out and they had to take blood first. I started crying and I cried so hard I gave myself a fever and they couldn't do it. The second time I went I was more calm. When I was around the same age I had my blood taken, then they lost it! I had to go back in and they pricked it through my finger I felt so sick, it sucked. I hate getting shots too. ugh. I feel gross or sick when I get them or think about getting them. But you know what the weird thing is? I love piercings! I have my ears done up, nose, lip, tongue, other parts... I think it isn't the needle but maybe the fact they are either putting stuff in me or taking it out, just freaks me out a bit lol. My relatives donated blood earlier this year and I just sat and waited. I know it saves lives but mine isn't a rare blood type and I am glad others donate blood, but I would pass out and they would have to stop anyway so I don't want to waste their materials or time.

I wouldn't donate blood because I'm underweight from their requirements.
It is really worthy to donate blood because we can save lives, and also it has an advantages to our body. First through blood donation our blood will be clean, our body can make a new blood within 3 months. We can be more healthier also and strong. :) keep up donating..
