Dear Visit 45, i am a new graduate too. Just start working for about 5 months. I currently work in the company that i previously having my internship in it. After i graduate, i go back to replace my supervisor as an engineer, because he had found a better job. Well, now, i work because i need some experience, but i really feel bore. So, i decide to change my job too! i try my luck on other company, and now i had went to 2 interviews and wait for those 2 company for second interview (if i have to luck to pass 1st interview). So, in my opinion, if ou have no financial problem, change your job immediately. For me, i work hard during this 5 months, and there still some useful experience for me. If you playing in indutry world, then the experience will always be useful, no matter what you learned in previous company. So, don't make yourself suffer, you may try to search for a new job while you working in current company. Wish you good luck in your journey of searching a new job, and wish me good luck in getting a better job! happy my lotting!

Hi Visit45, You right, today is not the best time to change job. keep it for the meantime and tried to look for other possible jobs of your interest. never give up your job without having any sure replacement. life is hard and losing a job will aggravate the situation. So be patient enough and enjoy your job. find things that will motivate you to go on!

Well, the safe thing to do is keep your job. If you study and go into a new field, it's going to be hard later on to be able to find a job since you don't have the experience to back it up (unless, you've got some connections). I'm a new graduate, and I've been trying to look for a job for nearly two years in two different countries and haven't had much luck. So, it's important to really think about this thoroughly before doing anything. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, it's just with the economy lately, there's tons of competitions for jobs, and the ones with the several years of experience are the ones that's gonna get them. But if you decide to change, it might be best to work and study at the same time. If things don't work out, you still have at least this old job until you find something better.
