what qualities best friend should have?

I think a combination of all of these. A friend should be trustworthy, first and foremost. Then he/she should be open, transparent and should not give you wrong idea about things and yourself. He/she should tell you when you are wrong and not so good. For me, a true friend is someone who believes in me and believes in herself.

Oh, diplomacy is foremost, I think..to know when its best (for me) to and when its best (for me) not to be honest or supportive and such..Trust is important because I know that whatever is happening is for my betterment..And its always good to have someone will cry with you...Enjoy!

Well first of all loyalty and to be good friends I would have to say you would need to share alot of things in common

My comments are pretty personal in nature. Expect my best friends to be Good listeners. Most importantly, good friends should also know when to leave you alone ! I do the same to my friends & expect the same in return. Friends who criticize you in public do not deserve the tag of good friends.

Well they have to be very kind and friendly and theY COULD be very simillar to you but they don't have to be. They would help you out during a tough situation, for example if you break up with your boyfriend. If your bestfriend is just mean to you all the time there is something wrong there.

I'd say trustworthiness, honesty and care. How about it? I'm thinking about how my best friend is and why I do consider him my best friend. I think that's it, someone I can trust unconditionally.

A friend in need is a friend indeed!
