What is Twilight?

Hi friends,
Recently I have been hearing/reading this term 'Twilight'. However I dont have any idea as to what exactly it is all about. Can you please tell me what is thi twilight? Is it a movie, album, game, application, software, cartoon, soup, dish, a person, or something else?
I'm really confused!

The twilight I know that is really very famous nowadays is the book by Stephanie Meyer which was turned into a movie entitled "Twilight". It is like a love story between a normal teenage girl who fell in love with a vampire. Twilight is the first book of the series of books written by Meyer. Basically, it's a fiction & a love story.

By the way, is this book something very popular? why is it becoming so popular? any Ideas?

Hi there murtuza.. Here in the Philippines it's quite popular, may be because it has a good love story between a normal teenage girl and a vampire. It seems kinda interesting too. I guess its becoming more popular because of the movie that is currently out in cinemas here. ^___^

I think you know the meaning of Twilight. Why this word becomes so popular? That is because the Twilight book series and movies. Lately the second movie of Twilight called New Moon is available in the cinema. It has many fans. And this is why Twilight is so popular.

Hi murtuza, long time no see. Where have you been? Was your trip to mars successful? Welcome back. :) Well, I know only one meaning of twilight, and that is something that all dictionaries give. Even I am interested in knowing if a new product by that name has come into market, and if so what it is, whether it is a website, or a movie, or what.:) Have a nice day. :)

Hi,
I was just having some fun time with the Aliens out there on Mars so I just extended my trip there and now I'm BACK!
I'll surely let you know if there is any product such as Twilight. As fr as I have come to know from this post, it's not a website but rather seems to be a novel from which a movie has been picturised.
Just waiting for some more people to cnfirm on this. :)

I can think of two meanings. 1. The light coming from the moon and 2. we refer oldage as twilight years.

Well, probably the twilight you been hearing is the movie one. actually it's originally a trilogy novel just harry potter and Lord of the ring. Just check your bookstore. though twilight movie is no longer showing coz the 2nd book is the one now showing titled : moonlight. hope I helped
