Is depression genetic or not?

I've been having problems in my immediate family recently. My sister went into severe depression and came out with some form of schizophrenia, my youngest brother has autism, and I have problems with concentration and I believe I might have some form of ADD/ADHD. I see how people would think they were hereditary. But our family has been through a lot.
So the question is, are mental health problems genetic disorders or does it have something to do with the environment?

I am not very sure of this that depression is genetic. But i am sure that autism is not genetic. Mental health affairs can be solved out by doctor's help. Most of the times the mental health states are the output of the causes taking place with the individuals. Autism or ADD/ADHD is not genetic.
