were black friday sales disappointing this year

they had great sales on electronics but other things just werent that great. we are shopping for clothes, sheets, blankets, posters, pillows, things to redo the kids rooms in. even simple toys didnt seem to be on sale really. i mean i can go to the dollar store and get them for the price they want at toys r us, walmart, etc. now i saw gret deals on tv, computers, games, etc but we have that stuff. not to mention i cant afford to buy each kid a new tv i mean come on. what is your opions on the sales this year.

The only good deal I found was for Microsoft Office 2007 at Toyrus. Staples has it on sale today. I didn't even bother stepping out on Friday. I shopped online for some of the gifts I needed.
I usually only Black Friday shop when I visit my brother and his family in New Jersey.
I'm with you regarding TV's, DVD players, etc. We have all that stuff.
I was reading in this morning's paper that retailers are going to have to keep the sales coming throughout the shopping season to keep people interested in returning to the stores.

i hope so and i hope they decide to put some pratical things on sale like clothes, dishes, bedding, etc.
