Does tastty and delicious food mean complex and wierd recipes?

I am great food lover and like to invent new recipes with simple composition. My friends like them. But when I narrate my simple recipe to them, they don't praise it?
With simple ingredients we can cook great dishes. I strongly feel this.

Not if I can help it!! I only go for the easiest and tastiest recipes I can find. If it has too many ingredients, I'm not going to make it. I love finding recipes that taste like I slaved for hours when really all I did was throw it together.
