Which would you prefer - life or death?

If your doctor pronounced you terminally ill, would there come a point where you would prefer death over life? Would you want euthanasia? Do you think Dr. Kevorkian was a horrible man for assisting with so many peoples suicides when the people knew they would suffer mightily before dying naturally? I believe at this time, without having the severe pain of cancer, or some other illness, that I might prefer euthanasia, but because of religious beliefs, I would hold off committing suicide. It seems to be one of the most ultimate of sins. Would I want to meet my God on those terms. I don't think so. How about you?
