This syndrome is particularly dangerous when the song happens to be the most pathetic, crappy albeit catchy song ever." In my case this is not limited to leaving the house. Here in Manila, some buses and jeepneys play crappy songs that are basically catchy, but irritating. Once you get off the bus, you catch yourself singing the very song you dislike. One song that bugged me once and almost got me near LSS was Aqua's "Barbie Girl". For the good LSS, I had Namie Amuro's song "Baby Don't Cry" humming in my head. It made feel good and inspired.
