One by Richard Bach - A Must Book to Read

'One' is definitely a book I'll recommend you to read. In fact, I already told my daughters to read it. I read the book when still single and have reread it many times. A book you'll never get tired reading and by just seeing the cover, you will feel a certain touch in your heart. Every chapter is something you will enjoy and look forward to finishing it. 'One' provides a lot of thoughts to ponder. Lessons in life! Let me just quote some: "Character comes from following our highest sense of right, from trusting ideals without being sure they'll work. One challenge of our adventure on earth is to rise above dead systems -- wars, religions, nations, destructions -- to refuse to be a part of them, and express instead the highest selves we know how to be." (This can be very well said to how politics is in my country, the Philippines.) And here's another: "No matter how qualified or deserving we are, we will never reach a better life until we can imagine it for ourselves and allow ourselves to have it. God knows that's true!" These are just a few line which I love. I thank RIchard Bach for such a wonderful book. In fact, all his books are very good. It fits all ages! If you haven't read 'One', I suggest you better go and start now!
