I recommend you to look for publishing your content at Triond or Hubpages where creativity is rewarded. These sites have various categories and you could choose the perfect one for you and also you can monetize your work through these resources. Have a good time. Best wishes.

Dude in terms of that, i think you should do some search engine optimizations. You can submit the url of your blog into search engine, you can visit other forums that are related to your blog and post the link on it so that others will have a chance to read your blogs or poems, You can visit other blog post then comment then live a link so that they will comment back. You can also use the social networking sites for your blogs to be known and a lot more. It is really important to drive lots of traffics to your blogs so that it will be known and it will monetize. The things that i have stated are the important hings that is needed to be remembered when you want to monetize your blog.

You can start a Blog on a website called Today.com. With this site, it is possible to set it up wher every time you post a new poem, or something, you can get a posting on facebook,etc. This might be something you may want to check in to. You can also post stuff on Helium.com. Not sure if you are aware of that site or not.
