I am very interested in photography, I like the idea of capturing the moment and all that, but all I have is a low quality 5mp digital camera that cost $40.oo
what would you recommend I get to start out with?

I have the Canon Rebel XSi 12.2MP DSLR and I love it! It's a great camera for beginners but also produces digital images with incredible clarity and professional quality. This is my first DSLR and I am well pleased with my purchase. I bought it less than a year ago and it came with an 18-55mm lens and I added a 75-300mm zoom lens and paid a little over $900, tax included. My next camera purchase will most likely be the Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21.1MP DSLR.
