What is one thing that drives you nuts about computers?

Well, let me start off shall I? 1. When I get a system error saying that I clogged a lot of processor memory up and they have to dump files and restart the computer. 2. BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), the No. 1 biggest anger breaker in the world. 3. Program running delays. 4. Doesn't function well with mouses. 5. You put in a new mouse and you have to install that hardware when you can't because you don't have a functioning mouse that can be used to install it! That's my five, how about you! ~Jordan

i dont get any BSOD now after learning how to properly take care and secure my PC. What bugs me now are other things like slow internet connection, no wifi signal, slow updates, and lastly, looking for printer or scanner cords and other small hardwares!!! :(

I always hate it when I try to save like my screen names on sites. But it takes up alot of virtual memory. Then I have to clear the cache and restart the computer. Ya, the whole having to install new software when I put in a new mouse is frustrating too.

Yeah, the mouse installing hardware is ANNOYING, the virtual memory is the biggest problem I could ever have, no seriously, the BIGGEST problem. Happy myLotting! ~Jordan

one thing i really hate is when I come accross a message "Your phone line is busy" when i try to connect internet through my service provider.i just call them up and scold them like anything coz this keeps on repeating. second is,when my hangs up coz it is an tedious job coz you got to open all the tabs on which you have been working. As of now these are the two problems i hate with my computer.if the number increases to 3 i would in form you You came up with a good discussion Jordan.gud day.

Same reasons that you have, they get on my NERVES!!!! Hehe, I especially hate the updates, I feel like smashing up my computer when I'm in the middle of a game after the update sign come's up and I pick "Postpone", my freaking computer restart's, I mean, come on! Stop giving me freaking updates. Happy myLotting!

Its not exactly the computers that annoy me, its mainly the hardware and software manufacturers that tend to annoy me. I'm not sure if you have heard of the idea of planned obsolescence, where by over time the manufacturers have planned the product to deteriorate or be out of date such that the consumers must buy or upgrade in order to use the product efficiently. This is quite blatant particularly when you buy a new PC and it gets slower and slower in 5 months and you need to upgrade ram etc and the software companies release updates which are bigger and use more memory requiring more and more investment in new upgrades etc.

I agree, it's annoying, I hardly buy hardware that much cause it's TOO much for some new hardware all the time, so I've been on this slow computer for the whole time, man I don't even know why I'm still on it. Happy myLotting! ~Jordan

There are two things which I hate with computers. One is already mentioned by you i.e. BSOD. But the other one is when the computer boots up if it takes a long time to give control back to user, it really puts me down. This happens all the time with Win XP when the booting sometimes takes as long as 5 minutes and you just keep waiting for it to start!! Cheers! Ram

Same man! BSOD is not really a problem to me, it doesn't really happen to me often, the booting up part is so annoying that I feel like SMASHING up my COMPUTER HARDWARE!!! Happy myLotting! ~Jordan

Hello. My computer gets into all kinds of problems, very frustrating. But, the one thing that really gets me nuts is the speed slowing down. Just when I need to get some thing dome fast, it would not move. Oh, that's really frustrating. Virus, and all kinds of problems. I would then have to do the virus cleaning process all over again.

The virus cleaning process takes (almost) a freaking year, I can't take it! Happy that you agree with me! Happy myLotting!

One of the things that drives mee nuts about computers would be freezing screens and other malfunctions like that. Also wireless and other connections sometimes having a hard time connecting to the internet can also be a real pain in the neck. But still computers are an amazing piece of technology that can help us a lot with learning and earning.

Have only one "viruses". Its the least thing I wanted to have in my computer. It affects everything, just like a domino effect. Once a virus was not detected by those expensive "anti-virus programs", they its too late for your files. That is if the virus is so destructive enough to cause you the trouble.

Viruses, why did anyone even INVENT them? It's the stupidest thing on Earth (I think!) and I don't know why anyone would make them, Bill Gates was the first person to make a virus in action, man, a big mistake of him. Happy myLotting! ~Jordan

The only thing that does drive me up the wall, is when my high-speed connection wants to run slower then dial-up. Other then that I have no complaints. Computers for me are a life saver. I'm glad I can afford it.
