I love my house at dusk!

That's when I like sitting in my living room the most as when it's turning dark there is just enough light to see without using a bunch of lights but dark enough so the flaws in it disappear. If there is dust on the furniture....or that chip of paint that is missing...you can't see it at dusk....Is there a certain time that you love your house more than other times? Do you like it when the sun comes up...or later in the day?

I prefer my house in the evening, I love how everything is lit up by spots and different lamps while it's completely black outside - plus it hides all the dust :D

photographers have a term for it - the golden hour.
when dusk just sets in and there is a warm glow in the sky. makes for a nice orangy light that makes photos look really good.
for me, I like the early morning, when the air is crisp and fresh and i can smell some wet in the air (i live in a tropical humid climate) and the day is just stretching itself out before me...

Dusk or Twilight is my favorite time of day period. My old apartment twighlight was the best time. it was on the third floor and there was a view. at that time of day the lights were just coming on and it was beautiful. Where I live now , I don't have a view so any time of day is like the rest.

Great discusion, jillhill! I like my apartment when the sun comes out. It makes in here look so sunny and cheerful. I feel more energetic then. I do agree with you, dusk does hide many flaws that your home may have. I have noticed this too many of times in places that I have lived.

I like my house best at dark. I like when I am able to turn on the light behind the couch and it gives off this certain glow throughout the whole room that is bright enough to see what you are doing but dim enough to make it relaxing and comfortable. In the summer time I enjoy my house at dusk to however, I think that time right before dark in the summer is one of the greatest times...

I like the later in the day better than the bright day of dawn it just doesn't feel right to me so I am more of a night owl than a early morning riser I have no idea why that is you have no idea how hard it is to be a normal day person in this crazy busy would. But yeah I love the dark my home loves it it is so peaceful compared to the day.

I do like to watch the sun come up while standing in our kitchen making coffee. It's so peaceful and quiet in the neighborhood at that time of the morning. No traffic, the birds singing and on a windy day the rustling of the leaves on the ground. I do enjoy our house each day, all day. Comfy here and safe.

and it was home, sort 'of. now i am here in Gold crest and its not much like home'although some of these residents here have been here forthree or four years and I guess its home to them.

You took the words right out of my mouth, that's just the way I feel about my house that time of day, that's my favorite time of day, you can't notice all the flaws or dust or dirt on the floor then..haha. I couldn't of said it better myself..

I would say the morning time. When the sun rays seems to enter into my house through the windows. They seem to make straight lines. It is pretty beautiful.

I prefer to stay at home to clean. because many of my friends who came to his house to play every day but it would be a different scene when you came into my room, because my room clean from dust, but a mess like we've been hit by the storm. I am happy to sleep with a messy room that made me very comfortable.
