based on the users activity?
If the number is high then you dont reply.
But if the number is low then you feel bad, thus obligated to reply.
I was thinking about that.
Im sure most people just look at the topic. Thats what I do..

I usually reply back to all the discussions that I start. I feel why then start a discussion if you don't want to talk to anyone about the discussion started. I reply whether is 6 responses or if its 25 responses. I think if someone took the time to reply to my discussion I should have the decency answer back.

I reply if it looks like something I am interested or that grobs my attention and that I might have something to say about it. I will admit that sometimes I avoid discussions that have a lot of replies because I try to at least scan the other replies so as to not duplicate too much and I just don't feel like doing that if there are a lot of them.

I respond when I see something interesting but not too controversial. I like fun discussions rather than heavy topics.
It makes absoolutely no difference whatsover to me how many posts the user who started the topic has at all. I will go to topics started by both new users and older ones if the topic is interesting. I will also comment on responses if I see something interesting or a friend that has responded.

Well, I don't really look at the number of replies it has. I will make a response no matter what the number is. I will only post something if I feel that I actually have something good to contribute; if a discussion has 0 responses it doesn't mean I have to respond to it. That discussion may just be hard for me to answer. Then, if a discussion has 100 responses, I will still have something to say and then I will make a response. It has nothing to do with the number of people, it is all about the topic.

I usually like to respond to topics that intrest me because it is quite boring if you only respond to ones that are boring and dull or just ones that are on subjects you do not enjoy at all. That defeats the purpose of this website, it is a social network so you should have fun while using it. That is only my personnal opinion.

I'm new to mylot so I don't know the answer to this and would really like to know. I post to discussions and I have seen a lot of replies to the discussions but not solely to the idems I have posted. I truly get the feeling that its a free for all and if you choose to respond you do if you have the time.

i reply based in the topic of the discussion, if i think its "atractive", hahaha...
its hard to discuss something that isn't what you like to reply
