How do you know that one music has made with emotion, or it was made for money? / myLot

I know some bands that started doing music, and know are just making money. they stop making music because they "like" and start just to make money. How do you guys make music? For you,how do you know that the music has emotion, or its just a sound?

hay man.. nice topic.. well i guess for me music has its way with our emotions.. if you cant feel the music then you're not that appreciative of the song.. but yeah i guess id have to agree that some people just make music for the money.. but you can also say that some people are really passionate for their songs.. let yourself be the judge on who makes music for the sake of money and who does not.. have a nice day..

thanks! i'm a guitar player, thats why i needed to know what people think about this topic. I love what i do, the musics I play and know i'm almost creating my own musics, and I need to understand the essense of music, and feelings and all of those things together.

It depends on the music. sometimes you can detect it in the lyrics or sometimes in the sound. I'm a music lover and it's easy to determine the difference between "like" and "just making money". But then, it's not really easy to explain. Musicians just know it by the heart. Some people are just sensitive...
