The BOSS?! Meaning the CEO? O my! What a day... Anyway, whatever the reason is. He doesn't have a right to humiliate you in front of others. And he doesn't have a right to raise a voice with you even if he is your boss. He can talk to you one on one and with no shouting. I think it is not professional to have a fight with you, knowing that he is the boss. Anyway he should be proud of you of what you are doing. You already did your best and your part on the company, now if that will be the decision and discussion of you being gone to the company, then i think you should decide freely. I know you know what is right. Do you think it is best to leave the company? Do you believe that it is their lost not yours? You are one hell of a committed and capable employee, therefore you should not be treated like that. You can sue your boss actually if you want to. Are you already regular on that company? If you are already a permanent worker and he will just kick you immediately, then you can sue him and gain large amount of money. But i am sure you will not do that cause you are a good girl. You are a grown up therefore i am assuming you already know what to do and know how to do the right things right. But if you wish to fight for your right and not to leave on that company, you can do it. Be sure to be strong and try to suggest for your company to have a personality development seminar and personnel management seminar, for your boss to learn how to manage a group of people in a proper manner. In the future he will be thankful to you, at least you become an eye opener for him. But i think, you should think and decide properly. Have a nice day! Cheer up girl your a good employee you should be proud of yourself and they are not the only company that will accept you. But, also remember that in this present economic condition, it is really hard to find for a new one.

what you have done is correct. some times boss are so jealous of our potential and hard work. they will intentionally start some conflict just to prove us wrong or to make others feel that we are the one to be blamed. in this case what you have done is good. you carry on your work there if you like to. cause you know the truth and he knows that he is found guilty. so dont worry just keep completing your work on time and let him realize his fault and jealousy.

Hi Ruby722,
Usually i'm not replying on some discussion like this, but i think i must at this time, because i hate people who humiliated other people because of jealousy , in my opinion, i think you should stay in the current office, since that you said you have a wonderful job and you did it nicely, so i guess you should stick to your path, if someone has to leave, it means your bos ...
Let people's around you to judge, and support you to stay, just be patience, contribute yourself for the company, and by the time ... you will have your own "army" to support you

hello there rubby,
If there is one person that supposed to show a good mannered attitude, it's the Supervisor, being rude is no excuse to let that anger out in an employee who is working very hard for the company, and that is you. for me, i don't think resignation is the right solution. remember, we still facing this crisis and there's a lot more people who are looking for jobs, you don't want to be one of them, right? fight for your right and tell the CEO the situation. i don't think this officer fully understand that conduct is also a requirement in the office.

To be a graduate,I am going to have a boss...
I have no idea about this circumstance, but at least I think you should apologize to him , even he was wrong first,or maybe it will make trouble for you!

Try to make amends with him. Since you are good at what you do, and your boss is only jealous, you can live by it. I don't know the type of relations between the two of you regarding work, but most people can work beside a boss they don't like too much by staying professional with him. I'm sure you have friends in the company you work for that can make your time there better - so just work the best you can, be professional only in your attitude for your boss, and enjoy the social life at work :)

You can stay there and do your best. You need to be looking for a new company to work for and one were the boss is not jealous because you have your own clients. Once you fine a company you like and have been offer a job there than put in you notice at your old job. If you work at a company that appreciate what you do for them then you will be happy.

I would term it as a heated work related discussion. Much better than the word fight. Yeah, I got a lot of it during my entire life as a worker. I have learned that bosses main job is to make our life miserable. Yeah thats right, they are payed to see that little mistakes we made and they are good about it.

If I were you, I'm gonna prove that I'm better than him to be my boss but it's up to you if you can't take his humiliating attitude. Remember, it's hard to find a job. If you feel that you're over qualified with your position, then go and find another job. Leave your jerky boss. (Peace ^^,v)

Hey ruby, you know there is an old saying that "The boss is always right".I dont think that you should have engaged yourself in a fight with him, moreover when you know that you'll have to work in that company only.If you are planning to resign your present job and get a new one, then I guess its a better idea to teach him a lesson and then leave.
They are boss doesn't mean that they can humiliate us anywhere.Recently I did the same thing.I was in a job and was planning to shift companies,so gave my boss some hard time before I left.It was fun and gave me unbelievable pleasure.

Hi Ruby, If the boss you mentioned is your immediate superior. I will suggest you to discuss and let your CEO know about this rather than leaving the company. If the issue not raised up, after you leaving the company also won't solve the current issue for the company as the Boss is the main problem. If the issue raised still cannot resolved the problem then only you can consider to find new job.
Good Luck to you.

I'm amazed by your experience. But i think fighting is not a wise choice and if you reall dislike your boss then make a plan to find a better job and do better in your new job.Besides not just complain about the environment and place all responsibility to your boss, sometimes we'd better ask ourselves for reasons.Anyway, hope you will manage it soon.
