Help, I baked a carrot cake using a mix thats 2 yrs old!!!!

Will I die from eating an expired cake mix of 2 yrs old??? A carrot one at that??? I noticed after I baked it!!!! Help me!!!! Are carrot cakes supposed to be spicy??
