Well according to great prophecies and fore-tellers, as great as Nostradamus, The 3rd World War will be started by the Middle east...there are a large number of Nostradamus Quadrants telling about this event...Just read the book..."The Complete works of Nostradamus"...and also considering the fact that all the present day terrorism is taking place in the Middle East, i think it is pretty suspicious how the terrorist activities and the prophecies coincide...As terrorists say that they want freedom and a new world that is surely what is going to happen if a world war 3 takes place..."NEW WORLD ORDER"....as prophesied by The Bible as well as non-christian people like Nostradamus...Nostradamus has said that the war will start when some astronomical event happens(it is written in his book...i dont remember what it is though)...Cryptologists deciphered that time to be 1999...but since no war started...its either that the cryptologists got it wrong or Nostradamus got the date wrong...But considering the overall politics between the superpowers and the terrorists activities...we can safely consider the fact that we are nearing World War 3!!!
According to me,China will start it but not from front..
the 3rd World war will not be something to do with religious riots...it will have its roots into higher reasons such as international nuclear politics,terrorist takeovers and anti terrorist wars..The 3rd world war will be the outcome of the the countries supporting current terrorist groups and the countries opposing them or rather this OR it will be the outcome of superpowers pressing forces on the developing countries and the other superpowers...like the US and Iraq....

I too have heard about these predictions although I take them with a pinch salt! It's possible that it could take place and if it did it would be nothing less than an absolute disaster! We have all these nuclear weapons in the world now and this war would be very different from all other wars that have taken place. I think that if all those bombs were set off then we truly would be obliterated! Still, it's good to always look on the bright side and believe that these things will never take place. I've read books on Nostradamus and he seems like the only seer who has come out with accurate predictions. Andrew

I still wouldn't want to believe it, the future of this planet does not depend on the prediction but for what we do in this present time. It's really scray when some one predicts the future and it turned out true most specially when no one listens. i hope more people will be cautious but not afraid or paranoid.

World War III will happen, it's only one day though, New World Order is basically changing everything to peace and sorting everything out, but some people just wont obey sometimes and they need to fight for their right.
In that case, the internet just makes them successful anyway, everyone places hit mark's cause there is a website to, everyone commits about everything and try to entertain people because they can, with a website, internet is the power of everything, it's taken over almost everyone's life's.

Well whether or not a 3rd world war will happen I cannot really tell for sure but I would definitely say that there are a chances that there could be another massive war. Hopefully as a total population we can recognize that we are together as a whole and are one single live organism yet individual beings. We have to get over the pettiness of war and learn to get over our pride and ego for the benefit of life and progress or evolution.

a lot of this so-called experts think they predict the future out come by interpreting the so-called hidden words from the Bible? well, let me tell you this "the future is what we make it" and i still believe that "won't" happen. this third world war and the 2012 crap, it's only to make people afraid of the future. besides, the UN wasn't created or organized just to have another foolish WAR. World Leaders should have already learned from the past and not repeat it. any leader who does this doesn't value human life and only wants power. those leaders from the Middle East are really having trouble getting along with the west due to this nuclear issue. not to mention terrorism.

Hi letranknight. War is inevitable as man continues to sin not fearing God. War can only be avoided if all men have divine fear of the One God with one belief. But now it is impossible. The UN is a futile world organization, its members are also corrupt and controlled by "powerful elites" in Freemasonry -- an organization which aim is to control the world into One World Order. Freemasonry is against Christianity and its aim is to eliminate all traces of Christians and Christianity as a whole.

I don't believe in Nostradamus though he is popular because he was an astrologer, the one who reads the signs in the heavens and is against the teaching of the Sovereign God. The bible says there will be wars and rumors of wars, they are inevitable as man continues to sin and his heart is corrupt. But you're right that it will develop in the Middle east as the book of Daniel closely examined has foretold so. The only thing for us needed is to be ready and our heart must be pure through repentance of sins so as not to be caught unaware of what will happen which cannot be avoided.

It's inevitable that somewhere down the line another major world war will erupt again, and I would not be surprised if it was during my life-time.
I think that humanity as a whole are beyond wars being started by religion (conflict will always remain, just no wars on a global scale), instead fuelled by greed and power. There are all these super-powers desperate to be the best and to have the most resources that it is only a matter of time before trouble breaks out.
Hopefully though, this won't be for a VERY long time yet, if at all, because I personally hate being faced with violence in real-life, and would be genuinely terrified at the thought of being involved in a world war.

Well I don't think that these religious riots lead to a world war. These riots are only in India not in other countries. At present the world is fighting with terrorism. So I think terrorism can lead to a world war. The weapons building in Taliban, Pakistan and China are very dangerous for the world. America is responsible for this because america is continuously providing weapons to Pakistan and Pakistan is making misuse of them. On the other hand, Russia is helping Taliban by providing weapons. So the war between India and Pakistan, India and China and the war between America and Taliban can lead to a world war.

dear friend.. my view about the third world war is quite different ... it seems to me that the invention and further rapid development of nuclear technology will force the whole world to avoid any world war in future and will compell them to go through peace process... however it is my idea.. may be it go wrong .. what you think...

Its better if a 3rd world war does not happen................ Because if it does ever happen mankind will cease to exists.............. With all the advancement of millitary weaponry and other technological advancement and especially with all the nukes present another world war and every thing are finished...........

Unfortunately, I think it will happen one day, but I have no idea when or how. For sure people haven't become too civilized to wage war, and in our increasingly connected world a flame in one corner of the world can start fires across the globe. I think there might be new rivalries in the future among the growing, emerging powers of today including China, India, and Brazil. Each will want greater access to natural resources and quarrel as they seek to extend their influence further and further...this could lead to a "hot" world war with actual fighting or a "cold" world war of economics and espoinage. I will hope until I cannot hope any longer that peaceful negotiations will prevent future wars, however.

I believe one day there will probably be a World War III. I can't say yes for sure, but I think so strongly. I know if there is not, there will be more small wars. I wish the world could be peaceful, but it's not human nature. I wouldn't be surprised if a world war started over terrorism. I think this were the terrorists win. We can not let them rule us.
