Among many functions like blue tooth, radio, recorder, internet connection, taking photos, listening to mp3 and so forth, which function do you appreciate the most?
For me, a calculator is a must because I need to computer my salary and my account often. Also, I expect a high quality of camera. I want one with 5.00MP/AF, instead of 2.0 of 3.2, so that I can take photos of some papers and test papers and study materials. haha, sounds like a spy, doesn't it?

Camera is a must, i've found that unless you buy a phone with a specifically high res camera in it, that you wont get very good quality though. I also enjoy my phone calculator, being rubbish with numbers, it comes in handy when i run out of fingers lol. Am also a fan of listening to music on my phone, gotta love memory cards so that it can hold tons of songs. :D

well i dont think i could choose or say just one quality.cause when im buying a cell phone i expect it t have a minimum number of qualities.in my case my cell phone must very strong and rigid.humans always makes mistakes and its kind of natiral that our cell phone would accidently slip off from our hand and fall down.whats the use of having a high quality phone if it cant even withstand a single fall.hehe

I like camera phones that are strong. Touch screan is perfered over buttons. I replace my phone every year or two because by tat time I need it to be updated. I probably would've stayed with my G1, had it not become stollen or missing even if it did require a rediculous data plan I would not have used all the features of. But meh... But I supose things could be worse.

Well i think the most important thing for me is the life of the battery. I want a cellphone that does not immediately get low batt. And of course I want a phone that has a long span of life. A phone that does not get destroyed easily.

magic9,
I basically travel a lot so I just feel that the most important one for me will have to be the availability of a connectivity starting with the bandwidth networks as it is vital for us to stay connected without having the burden and inconvenience to change my phone.
Including wireless connections where WiFi and Bluetooth are both additionals I cannot do without. They are indeed very handy and if you really know how to use them to the fullest, it can save you a load of phone usage bills.
So, connectivity is everything to me at the end of the day for me.

I think the battery is the most important thing, as I don't want to have to keep charging it up all the time. My cell has a long life battery in it, and that makes it nice as I can almost go a week before I have to charge it up again. This si the first phone that has given me a better battery life than all the other cell phonse I have had. The only time it goes down fast is when my daughter and I text and we haven't been doing that lately. When we did text, we would text so much that the battery would drain every day. I am glad that it lasts awhile as I don't have to keep charging it, and that is a plus in my book. Take care, and happy myotting.

Well you forgot to mention a few of the qulaities that I would like to add i.e blue tooth & wifi. For the modern user this is a must as most of us who are workaholic need it to tranfer the files and keep connected to the work place all the time. Wi-fi is another advantage that u cant ignore. There are some cell phones which also give u some extra applications to be used with , like mines get connected to a HP printer and u can take out the prints of the pictures as well.

I liked mostly the net browsing from a cell phone. And also the music of the cell phone. Specially I liked to do what I do in my computer. I like to open all the web pages in my mobile that I visit through my computer. I also want to hear some good quality songs and radio in my mobile. Lastly, the camera is needed to take some photos.

I pay attention to the operating system of the cellphone. If it is a Windows mobile, then it is my choice. As I have many software and games for the Windows mobile. Besides, the wifi connection is also another requirement. Other features are not so important for me.
I love China

hi,
I think as cellphone is for urgent communication first thing it should have proper connectivity with its provider which some cellphone may not have and obviously a internet browsing fscilty. Next is camera, recording and playing music which may be needed urgently too in some conditions.

My favorite function would be the music player, cause I like to listen when I'm travelling be it on a bus, a train or just walking. And this sound weird, but I bring my cellphone in the bathroom, listening while taking a bath. hehe. The other function that I used often is the camera. I also like to take pictures, anything that catches my attention.

Well i think a cell phone should possess a quality of unbreakable and maintenance free.I always fail to handle my cell phone when it comes to its maintenance.I tend to either break some buttons or something, as they are very delicate we need to look after them all them time.So i think there doesn't stand any point to carry such a delicate thing for everyday use.I think it should be more flexible to handle.

It's a tie between the music player and the camera. The music player is essential to have since you can listen to it anywhere, even at work. There was a study that was conducted according to which they said music makes employees more productive! A camera in a cellphone is very useful to take snaps on the go. A single moment never comes again and it is handy to have a device to capture that fleeting moment. Most cellphone cameras today also have a video recording feature which adds even more value to a cellphone - you can make short films on anything like your child's first baby steps. If you prefer a camera in your phone it is advisable to look for at least 3.2 MP since you get it easily at very good prices.
