I really dont understand how music can connect with our emotions and that music provokes really strong emotional responses.. I seen some people gets teary when they hear songs like My heart will go on and some people get crazy(headbanging) when they hear songs like Helter Skelter by the Beatles hah i get excited when i hear this too XD haha

Music definitely affects my emotions, I've cried from hearing certain pieces of music. I believe in string theory, and I think it explains why music affects us so deeply.
I always find it odd when I meet someone that says they don't like music, at all. I can't imagine not liking any style of music. There are very few types of music that I don't like. Different styles can invoke different emotions and feelings.

Music as what some says is a speaking word for someones soul. It lifts the mood and may set your nerve on fire. For me, gospel or inspiring music are the best kind of music to listen. Aside from it touches ones soul, it inspires you and make you feel good inside and out. The reason why some people gets teary when they hear some songs, maybe they can relate well with the song lyrics. When the song touches my heart, it only means that song lyrics has something to do with me. Well, for those song that made you dance or do song headbanging, these songs beat might awake your nerve that you want to do those things.

It all depends what you take out of the music you listen to. With a lot of great bands it becomes obvious how much emotion they put into their music, which in turn usually toys with your emotions as well.
