That would be me. I love Studio Ghibli, they have so many amazing works. I remember watching Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky when I was a lot younger. Of course at the time I had no idea that I was watching Japanese animation. I couldn't differentiate the cartoons then. But years later I watched Princess Mononoke and fell in love with the story. It was just so different from the other animated movies I had seen before then. The storyline was so much more mature and realistic, compared to the Disney animations. The whole man versus nature thing was intriguing and interesting. This was the movie that made me love Studio Ghibli as well as anime.
I've seen quite a few Ghibli movies but I think my favorite one will always be Grave of the Fireflies. That movie is so powerful and emotional. I've seen it four times and cried all four times. It was very sad. I can't help but feel bad for those poor children.
