how can you say that you are lucky?

I think the luckiest day of my life is when I will die. This is because there's so much temperament, and so many ups and downs, so many lies, and so much to say. But here we are in life, to learn I guess. That maybe even love isn't enough. That this is life, and love won't sustain all the time. You can be in love, but sooner or later you will break up. It can't be sustained, not in any usual way. I don't believe in love because it leads me astray, yet sometimes it is fun and I adore it. I cannot learn to love in this life. I am lucky that I know this. I am lucky because I don't have to go through the pain of thinking I should love. I don't know how the "lucky" word was created.

hi.. For me, based on what you shared? I guess you are not lucky, but you are BLESSED.. why? because not all people in this world have that blessed gifts from GOD like you..many lack all those you have said, and maybe they wished they have the same blessed gifts same as you.. you are alive,in good health, have an education, a supporting family that will be your source of strength..and i know you worked very hard to achieve those blessed gifts. Lucky are termed for those who have not wasted so much effort in life.. example, is if you gamble for a few minutes to an hour, then after that you hit the jackpot? that is lucky.. another is, if you joined any raffle draws and your name got the Big prize and then your life changed in a single time for future.. that is also Lucky.. also, if your aspiring for a good job and you almost believed you cannot be chosen? then afterward you are instantly hired? You are lucky.. So it means, Lucky is by chance only.. and if you combined your Blessed gifts? and use them wisely for future use that is beneficial of yours and family? plus your add luck? you are still much blessed.. When people are lucky? all of them are unexpected..they use the word lucky as a common term for success or achievement..but it depends on how every person see it.. That is the difference..and I am glad that you shared with us mylotters? how blessed are you.. and I hope more blessing to come along your way and the same way with all of us here at mylotters..

HELLO uchi, You know I was watching the News today and i saw people lost their homes because of a stupid neighbor who either forgot what he was cooking or faulty electrical wiring. but what ever the cause it destroyed house,business. although lives are spared, ut they will have a sad moment spending Christmas, at least they're still ALIVE. wat about those who got killed in the Massacre not to mention some female media members who got raped first before they got killed and buried, i don't think they got lucky enough. I know how lucky i am despite the pending loose of internet connection because i have been in the safe haven all the time and never at least experienced the horror and pain that these other people experienced, they don't even do internet or other material things. and take note some are willing to do everything to graduate, i think you should measure the luckiness on what you still have comparing what people doesn't have but you have it. As for me, i have no right to complain but THANK still on the Lord that gave me all of this and most specially my FAMILY. Have a great day

I can say that I'm lucky because I'm healthy..I know many people who are unhealthy or sick and could not enjoy life. They have lots of money but not a good health..I think Health is wealth..So for me, I'm lucky because I live my life daily with new experiences

Though it is a normal feelings to be happy in simple things though like me I am not completely say that i am lucky as their are things which deeply upset me that i seem have no control over it. Well, being alive is a consolation and one must not rest on it as happiness may not be experience alone it could also be shares to others as well.

Hello uchihaseymour, Boy that was id write out (lol) Lucky I could write and understand this question. I am bless with two daughters who can read and write and go to college be what ever there hearts desire. I am bless to have my spirit and my health to work two jobs in 40 and they are long nights. I am bless I still have my home and food on the table not always easy for me or best brands ot meats or food and yes they do say yuk... but they learn to do without to have better life in the future. That there is God out there with a plan for each one of us we may not understand why people come into our lives and leave abruptly or die on us but there is a bigger plan for all us.
