Do you really earn money online? or is it just for fun?

Hi! guys, just wondering..
what is the main reason why you join ptc, blogging, etc, etc,
why do you spend long hours online?
Me..
I it just started with I lost my job last december..
Yeah its been a year without job...
I tried business...but its failed
I tried to apply but no luck...
I just spend my whole day in the need..I think I'm an addict or something..lolz
But it been a year and and don't really earn a dime..except of course that in my dozen ptc's and other means of earning site I have a dollar or two. Plus all the scam sites that run away with my money...
I just realize..that after a year I just wasted my time online..
I got fat..
I'm lazier than ever..
And I just lost a year without achieving much..(In terms of financial status)
and my expenses increase..
.................
What do you advice that I can do to change all that..
How to maximize my time online and earn...
Or do I need to lay down my security blanket ( the internet) and explore the world once again?
IF I go out..its another expenses..
I tried to look for work but every week spend, the more I loss hope of finding one, and also its depressing sometimes..
I tried to open a business but I just don't have a luck..

ya surely make some money
but now with 10$ as the payout it is more difficult.......

I'm also new here..just started...one week old..But I earn already 2.6 dollars..for just being online for three hours a day..so not really bad I think..

Yeah..I miss my old job.. But still searching..I think because of my age..Its better for me to open a business..but so far three business closed in one year drained my wallet..lolz

Well, I don't come here for earning only ....
I really enjoy discussion here ...and money is secondary for most of the regular member here ....
Quality discussion only attract my response and ... I also search for those to respond ...

I understand the frustration of not having a regular income to sustain our needs. I think that if you need immediate result - money, then you need to get out of your home because there's money outside. Look for something that you can sell. I admire those who are selling something for a living. Near my work place, there is a young boy who is carrying a tray of food going around selling.
If a boy can earn $8 - $10 a day, I think that you are better. Online earning or business takes time. But in selling something, you can have something to spend for the day. Build your contact and if you establish yourself as honest person, then they will always buy from you which is good business. I hope that you can find a way to get some cash this christmas.

Yeah,, I tried that.. been opening three business this year and all failed..
Got lots of clients but somehow things just don't go my way..
I found a site..its about online job..real online job..and I interview lots of members their and they say its for real..
Maybe you can help me check the site and make a real job their..
But you need to have programming or computer background and also need to pass the exam in order to work online..
