As we all know, life is composed of both success and failure. For success, it is easy for everyone to wear a big smile on his or her face. But for failure, things are quite different. Some people can gain precious experience from failure and move on while others are beaten down by failure and never have courage to stand up again. I am a lucky person. In the past years, I did met some obstacles but no crucial ones. But I saw bad things happened to people every day. So what is your situation? Are you feeling lost and how do you recover from that?

i used to be failure at the past.i felt horrible and very upset and i think i not qualified to live in this world. what i do is i cry a lot, eat and eat for couple of day. After i release my tension, i stand up, stare at window and i motivated myself to awake again. I must recover my failure and become an achieve person. I don't want to be a useless person.

Everyone is born to the world for a reason. So don't look down upon yourself. Each one has his own advantages. Failure is a must in life. Can you imagin a life with only joy and fun. I think it is only picture of heaven. People are born the same. They become different because they bahave differently in front of failure. Do you want to be a strong man or a caward?

I agree. Failure is a part of life. I don't think there's anybody in this world who has never experienced failure. What's important is the lessons you learn from the situation. Always try to look at the positive side of it. Never forget that God allows us to experience pains and obstacles so we can become better persons. Your faith in God will pull you through.

Hi, Actually in the beginning phase of my life, I had not experienced major failure but something tragic happened to me which made me traumatised. It affected me seriously and made me somewhat a depressed person. Due to that, it also affected my performance in work and therefore resulted in many failures in work and also in my life. Everytime the failure happens, I will feel so depressed and I feel as if there is no way out. I would cry deeply, and thinking why things happen the way it did. Then after crying out I will be in a more stable state, but still afraid to start again right away. It takes me time to heal from failure but I do try doing back what I had failed. And everytime when it failed again, it breaks my heart and I will cry but this time not as bitter as the first time. As the failure happens more frequently, I became immune to the failure and I can accept it with an open heart and now I feel I can start right away even if I fail. Maybe I will stop for a day or two and then I will start right away, not like before. But I think my spirit is not like before, so ambitious and full of energy. Now I just do things because I have to, and I find this way is a safe way because if I fail I will not feel too disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your experience and I learned a lot from your experience. The more we suffer, the stronger we will be. So we all must learn to be a strong man or woman.

That's easy, I just subscribe to the philosophy laid out by Thomas Edison. When asked how many times he failed in coming up with the light bulb, he replied over 900. Then he was asked how he kept on going after all those many failures. To this he replied that he didn't see them as failures, only ways in which not to invent the light bulb. So, that is what I try to do when I don't achieve what I want. I say to myself I just found out another way in which not to produce the outcome I expected, and then try again until I do find a way.

I'm not really unlucky, but I'm not that lucky either. For the past few years I've failed most of the subjects in my studies, and I think I've reached a point that my life is on the verge of collapsing also. The way that I faced my failures is to laugh at them. I knew that those failures came from the mistakes that I made, so I just laugh at how stupid I was for making all those mistakes. There's no point in crying over spilt milk, I'll never bring myself to waste my time being sorry for myself. I would just get on with it, there's always next time for me to do something better.

i have met alot of obstacles in my life and i feel defeated for a bit and pick myself back up again and try to move forward. i think i try very hard to handle adversity but i am not always a solid rock of fortitude. i use food to compensate for life's trials so i have a weight problem and that brings me down alot. i have pretty good coping skills though and i am trying to teach my son the same. that you have to be strong because life is very hard in many ways. i am also trying to teach him to grab hold of fun whenever possible and to also make time for relaxation whenever possible to help relieve the stress of life.

hello.. well, it's tough to experience failure ,specially when you least expect it, but there are times in our life that we have to fail, but let it be your learning process, think deeply of the things why did it happen, what did you respond to attain that failure,it may be you blame others for it but you also have to realize that you yourself have the biggest responsibility in choosing what decisions you make.. what i remember when i encountered my greatest failure in life, well my first respond is that i blame it to some other people, all because of great anger, and as time passed i realized that it is difficult to recover if you have a lot of hatred and anger, then i remember i needed God,he would help me release my hatred and anger, i prayed hard,i talked to him as my best friend, and with Him and in Him surely nothing is impossible, slowly but surely, we will overcome failure...and as they say,the key to success is to appreciate the sweetness of FAILURE brings...

As I read your discussion I was recalling my past if I ever had a big failure in my life. I really don't have an event in my life which I can consider as failure in my part. But if ever I had a major failure I will take it as a challenge and move on and set it as a lesson for making the best of yourself.

...Hi alexfeile318, Most of all, failures, to my thinking are a way to help us grow in one way or another. Not all of us benefit from failures, as there are many doctors and lawyers who I have been told are on skid row in a lot of cities. But if we are able to, fall down for a while, look up from the virtual ground for a while, have faith that we can make it, maybe gain strength from remembering that someone else passed through this fire and made it, we can overcome the obstacles placed in front of us and move on. I read that Abraham Lincoln failed many times at many things prior to becoming one of our greatest presidents. So there's hope. I think you have to keep moving, in spite of it all. Take care.

For me, failure is just a lesson and a part of our life. Without failure, there's no challenge in life. In order for me to succeed, trying another way to go through is the best solution that I can do. Just my opinion!

There is no doubt that failure is more significant After achieved success, we are often very happay and forget to make progress continually.on the contrary if we are failure,we will work hard and try to success. however,it does not mean that success is not important in our life.If we are always failure.our life is dim.

Whenever I'm faced with a problem sometimes I avoid it. Because I'm afraid of failing. I don't like the idea of failure because logically you would try to find solutions in order to increase your success rate. Because if you could have done something to avoid the problem then why didn't you? But nobody is safe from failures. Even with what I just said my life is termed a "colossal failure". I haven't even finished a degree.

Hello alexfeile318 this is checkmail and if ever got failure in my life then would try to turn it into sucess by mine efforts and intelligence.Yeah these are the key to the sucess, basically you won't know th eway to sucess unless you fail in it first.Wel earlier got failure in mine 10 grade but i never let it over me, even mine family too helped me in that time.I took a short break, forgot abotu the failures and just remembered the main reason for failure, and started mine study again. An to mine efforts i was one of the good scorer in the 10 grade at second attempt. So its true said try and try till you suceed.

hello alex, I don't know honestly, but i do believe that in order to recognize and enjoy success, you should know first how to endure pain of defeat as to failure on what ever the things you do. mine too wasn't crucial but i guess not almost doing any risk in my life had brought to a long term failure. i have made a few successes but for me i believe am too late, still surviving though

I don't know how I recover from failure. When I fail, I actually tell myself, I screwed it all up, I don't deserve a second chance. I even think about seeking a hidden place or corner to go into and give it up for good. Then some how I recover, I get a new idea, mostly. Best explanation I could come with.

Success and failures are part of life and go side by side. One will not be able to taste success if has not experience failure. I think we should not be too happy with success nor too gloomy with failure. When failure comes we should keep our head high and gather the courage to deal with the failure. we should treat it as the stepping stone for our goal. Failure do create discouragement in us. but we should not loose hopes. Since hope is the only surviving factor to meet success.

In my opinion if you want to become successful you should fail in some steps also. This will show you what you can do so that you will not fail in future. it is a type of learning for the Human Being. so, In my opinion person should come from failure enthusiastically to achieve his/her target more powerfully.

Failure can sometimes be a bless for you. That is when we can learn from our mistakes, what we have done wrong. Maybe there is something about us that needs perfection. Some enrichment to ourselves can be a good steps for better future.
