I've been. Very creepy. No seriously. Go. I hate to be so mean , and call them a cult, but that's exactly the feeling you get when you go in. Its not just the movie they make you watch, or them begging you into letting them come over to your house and teach you about the mormon faith. Or the weird rituals they have. Its the look in their eyes. The look in their eyes really freaked me out. Go in there, and look at their eyes. If there is possession, those people are possessed. Its like the look of an empty shell. Someone who is not there. The church itself. Its like a museum. That's the best that I can describe it. Oh and you can't go into the actual church. That's for believers only. You go into the non believers church. Where they try to get you to join them.

ya I realized that after I reread it. its been a few years since I've been there. There's carpeted floor in a really huge like waiting room type area. Kinda like the entry to a really nice hotel. With halls leading to different areas. There's lots of artwork. Huge paintings on the walls, statues, a desk kiosk where people are waiting to sell you mormon bibles, and other books. And a large marble staircase, that winds up to an area...can't remember what was up there. Some kind of statue. Its really not what you would expect. They seem to be showing off their money.

The LDS Temple is a beautiful building and sacred to the LDS faith. It is considered to be the house of God. It is where members of the church are sealed to their partners for time and all eternity and work is done for those who have passed on so they can enjoy enternal life in the kingdom of heaven. If you are curious about the Mormon church, talk to a missionary and they can answer your questions about it.
