Who will win the third test between India & SriLanka?

I assumed wrong about the pitch whileposting on other discussions. I guess India made the right call by taking another batsman in place of Gambhir. Before the match I thought it would be better to get a spin bowler as the pitch would be slow and low. BUt I was surprised to see the bounce and carry on the pitch. Though INdia managed to capture 8 wickets SriLanka has done well to score the 366 runs. It will be a good match as both bowlers and batsmen have something for them in the pitch. Muralitharan would be a handful on this pitch. His eyes would have lit up watching the turn Bhajji and Ojha extracted out of this pitch. I hope Sachin, Dravid and Laxman can bring in their excellent defensive techniques while playing their offensive shots on this pitch. Sehwag would be his usual so its a jackpot if he stays for more than a session. At this point of time its very difficult to say who would win. It all depends on how well India bats in the first Innings. Because it would be very difficult to bat on this pitch from the third day onwards. So the second innings is going to be tough for both teams. Unless someone in the Indian team anchors the innings tomorrow and carries the bat to day three I dont see this match going past day4. The match will surely yield a result but who would win is a difficult call to take. BUt going by the present form and ability I think India has the edge.

surely india will win and its mumbai no doubt about that..india looses seldom at this venue...sachin will score..

It is too early to predict the winner just yet as the Brabourne stadium ground is being used after 36 years. So in a way it is an unknown quantity. Sri Lanka has won the toss and elected to bat first on this pitch. I think the pressure is more on Sri Lanka to win the match than on India. So I think India would be favorites for this match. i really hope India will play well enough to defeat the Sri Lankans to become the no.1 Test playing nation.But I still fear the lack of consistency of the Indians.The are quite capable of winning or losing any test match with their erratic performance.

Right now we can't say it totally depend upon Indian bowling and Pitch also. Batting is anyhow is good. Also, Srilankan started the inning very well 90/0 in 19 overs. So, Let see.......

India will win this match & series because all the Indian batsman & bowlers Played well in second test. If the same thing repeat again srilanka should loss with out doubt.
