At this time, facebook is no longer just "social networking sites" but has become an instrument of a human being with another human being. Facebook has become a necessary tool for people to share and control information about himself.
truly a miracle in itself, Facebook has really changed the way people communicate in this world. I wonder what is the reason people joined the Facebook. Social networking sites than others, what do you think the advantages of Facebook?

Facebook is a good site to find old friends you've lost contact with. I've been invited several times to facebook before deciding to join. I thought it was just a waste of time to have an account with the site. But through it, I was able to reconnect with old friends, classmates from high school. Now I use it to keep in touch with them.

350 million people is sure a lot of number there. That's just awesome. I myself use Facebook mainly for games, but I totally agree for the fact that it is such a useful site to share things and whatnot with close family members and all. A very good innovation, at its best.

350 million is a lot, i think almost everyone with access to the internet is a member. There are a lot of social networking sites out there like friendster but i guess the makers of facebook just hit the nail in the head. Format and applications wise, it is way better than most networking sites. For me, it's the applications such as farmville and farmtown that made facebook a hit because most of my colleagues are visiting the site not to get update on their friends but to visit their farms on the site. I notice also that most of the updates are updates on how they were doing on their respective games. I think it's more of interactive gaming site and users can interact with each other on the side. Cheers!

I joined Facebook because it is an easy way to keep in contact with my friends and family. I went to an out-of-state college and left all my friends behind, so having a Facebook made it easier for us to keep in touch. Also, when I was in college, it was easy to keep track of events going on around campus or meetings I had to attend. In a way, it keeps my days organized because I know what is going on and when.
I think Facebook will continue to grow because it's one of the easiest ways to contact people. It's nice to be able to share photos, write messages and chat with people all on one site.
